I cannot stand my stepfather! Are these reasons good enough for why I hate him?
- Ok sorry for this long letter but I just need to rant.
Ok first off, I was only six years old when my parents got divorced (I'm 15 now). My mom left my dad for another man. And although they aren't married, they are engaged and have been for the past nine years, so I somewhat just consider him my stepdad. I still get to see my biological father every week at least though. When I first met my stepdad, I acted nice towards him, and although back then I was too young to understand I pretended to like him (when really I never have). All my life it has been so awkward between us. I don't think he's ever realized it, but I can't even stand to sit at the same hapunan mesa as him, it's just so awkward! I feel like I can't even breath. I'm paralyzed from the awkward tension in the air. I feel like the main reason why I never really liked him was because my mom chose him over my dad. But as the years went by, my hatred towards him has only grown stronger:
(1) As my sister and I got older (my sister was one when my parents divorced, she's almost ten years old now) my stepdad would often tease us and say a lot of jokes and stuff. Some may have been not as funny as others, but you would think that's a great stepfather attitude. Someone who likes to joke around a lot. People have even sinabi that it's because he likes us that he teases us. But really my sister and I have only found it super annoying as we got older. I mean just think, wouldn't you also get pretty annoyed of someone saying the same "teasing" stuff to you everyday for the susunod nine years?
(2) He drinks serbesa all araw everyday. I'm not saying he's abusive or that he gets drunk on a daily basis. But the constant empty serbesa cans flooding the counters gets annoying. He smells like serbesa all the damn time and then complains about his serbesa belly he can't get rid of.
(3) In my opinion, I really do not like dogs. So my stepdad comes up with the great idea of getting a dog. It's been three months since we got her and I sti
