Alright this is kinda social tanong and a science tanong technically speaking.

In my opinion I think nonbinary is madami or less what someone relates to psychological and emotionally as opposed to being a biological gender. Technically speaking scientists has confirmed that there are anomalies in human chromosome patterns but people it is still in the confines of a binary system when it comes to human genetics. Thus what I am trying to say is having irregular chromosome patterns a sign of a person's being nonbinary or are they intersex instead?

Being a Non-Binary myself, it’s basically like you described. Non-Binary is under the Transgender Umbrella, alongside other Transgendered terms. Let me explain this madami thoroughly.

Under the Transgender Umbrella, there is:

Transsexual (these are people who feel actual dysphoria with their birth sex, and undergo transition in order to fix it.)
Transvestite (basically people who merely cross-dress, and don’t actually feel trapped as their current sex)
Drag (a performance art, not to be confused with Cross-dress)
And Genderqueer/Non-Binary (those who’s mentality don’t quite fit the traditional gender characteristics of masculinity and femininity.)

Some Non-Binary people may feel dysphoria, but I personally don’t. If you need madami info, I’d totally don’t mind talking madami about it.

Here's the thing however I understand that. I am talking purely scientifically and socially. Some people are saying nonbinary can be a biological construct.

There are anomalies in genetic codes but there isn't enough proof either way if it is nonbinary or within the confines of a binary system

TL;DR:

Non-binary: Personal identity

Intersex: Chromosome configuration and exhibited physical sex characteristics of both sexes.

Neither are an indication of another.

Pretty much what everyone sinabi above it. Really wouldnt biological gender just be sex though? What gender you biologically are is just what sex they are right? Or is sex supposed to be only judged on genitals and not on both genitals and chromosomes?

I mean I guess you could kinda say they might fall in the sector of hermaphrodites and all as being the inbetween but I dunno.

To be honest, all sides of this argument and discussion just became a little too much for me that at some point I kinda just opted out of the concept of gender XD

I got like so tired of trying to make an idea or opinion on something that I just didnt find important that for the past few years if anyone asked me what gender I am I just shrug and say "Whatever honestly. Call me whatever. But I was born female if you care."

Im not really for or against it and I honestly try not to dive too far into it cause its really just too complicated labeling if you ask me.

But thats for ME. I know it means a lot to others so Im not against people labeling themselves or messing with the concept of gender as being part of their identity.

Just personally I kind of opt out of it. Used to be genderfluid, used to be agender, now Im just Rikugender. Its too much work and hassle XD

My kasabihan is do what you like, dress how you like, behave how you like, and just live however you like and dont stress too much about things. If you feel uncomfortable in the body you were born with, feel free to transition. I know it comes with social stigma and I guess its one of the few times Ill actually admit my lack of care is probably a bit of a "privilege" as much as I hate that word but yeah

But all those things SJWs make a big deal over I jsut find too much work and hassle to figure out for myself. Sexuality, romantic, and gender identity and all. I just do what I like for all three and care little for any labels
