uy there! So I am going to be making a review on Fanpop (*looks at pamagat of article* Thanks Captain Obvious! xD)
Anyways, here it is. Sorry if it might seem too short or too long.
I've been on Fanpop since 2010. (Yay for 6 years~)
Anyways, this site has ranged from being super active to somewhat active to hardly active. Like right now, it's really not that active and it is honestly boring now. I mean back in 2010 it had much madami enjoyable things. Plus the chat system and all. The trolls weren't that bad.
Actually they were quite amusing back then. Now they just are completely boring and wasting everyone's time. (Well in my viewpoint haha). ANYWAYS, I digress. Fanpop is.. well it's kinda hard to describe Fanpop tbh. I remember getting on here 6 years nakaraan and being like, "wow!" and then that faded. This site isn't bad. In fact, I'm glad I got on here that araw in February. I've meet so many great people but unfortunately I met so many bad ones.
Like everywhere on the internet, this site has these rotten apples that you can't really get rid of. It's almost if not impossible to. Moving on. Fanpop had a mixture of great, pleasant people to be around and people that you wish would just leave because of what they say and their actions.
I've seen quite a bit of fights here. I've been in some myself tbh. Mostly in the past. But like stated before, this site wasn't going to escape having bad seeds.
Now for the site appearance itself. Hmm.. I've had many changing opinions on this. On one hand, I miss the first disensyo I saw when I first joined. Then the new disensyo came and at first I didn't really like it then it grew on me. Then sadly that disensyo went away and now we have this design. (Good thing we can change our bista sa tagiliran though having to pay ginto for it is a bit..annoying?). Anyways, I currently have no objections with this current design. In fact, I got quite used to it.
Okay so I covered people and the design.. what next? Oh right!
Clubs! Ah, yes. How I pag-ibig the clubs. You can make your own and/or you can sumali a club. It's a great place to go and make new friends, post some amazing art, gifs, etc and get people's opinions on whatever you're asking them in polls. Clubs is a great part of Fanpop. It makes it seem unique compared to other sites. (Could be wrong there lol)
Lets see.. what else should I review? Oh! I got it.. the old chat system.
So most of you remember Meebo correct? Well, it was great when it was still here. Being able to make statuses and talk to others. In fact, you get a response quite quickly compared to messaging each other that we use now.
Well, that's about it for now. I'd rate Fanpop a 8/10 tbh. It's not the best site of course. But it's better than some of the sites I've been on.
