Hello, everyone! I've been meaning to write this for a while. Antonia actually gave me the idea on how I got my Malamute puppy, Layla, so here it goes.

I wanted to get another dog to be a companion for my English Setter, Theo. madami than anything, I missed having madami than one furry friend. I once had a gerbil named Peanut, but he died after a taon or so. I wanted something that lived longer than a pocket pet, so I decided, "Why not get another dog?" I started looking at different breeds.

I initially thought about getting a Canaan Dog, but I couldn't find any breeders anywhere in the United States....

Towards the end of the school year, I ran into a couple of challenges. One evening, Lydia and I went out for a hapunan date. As we were heading back, a big deer jumped down from a slope and landed on the car. It broke the windshield, and then it got up and ran off. After I recovered from the shock of what happened, I looked at Lydia and asked, "Lydia, are you okay?" She said, "I'm fine. It's yourself you should be worried about. You're bleeding." I said, "I am?" She said, "Yeah." I was taken to the hospital. My wounds needed stitches, and they were bandaged as well. I healed well, although I...

It was this past taon that I learned who actually cared for me and who didn't. Even though the person I thought was my best friend became popular and I didn't, he still talked to me a little. He didn't attack me directly for a while. Earlier this year, my grandfather was diagnosed with a bad case of double pneumonia. I visited him in the hospital. He woke up, but he didn't speak to me at all. He then went back to sleep. He died an oras after I left the hospital. Overcome with grief, I didn't want to eat, because my pagkain didn't taste good to me. One araw at school, I fainted from hunger. When...

Pretty soon, Lydia and I were in a madami than mga kaibigan relationship. On the evening of our first date, I was so nervous. I dressed the best that I could. When I went to her house to pick her up, she said, "Leonard, darling, that's very sweet, but you don't need to dress up." I said, "I don't." She said, "No. I'm fine with casual dress for dates." I said, "My segundo girlfriend didn't feel that way." Lydia said, "She didn't deserve you." I began to open up to Lydia even madami during our date. She asked me, "Why are you so much older than our classmates?" I said, "I started school a little late,...

When I started high school, I met the person I thought was my best friend. He would later betray me, but I'll get to that later. We met in English class and casually talked after school. One day, a group of bullies knocked me to the ground. They were about to beat me up. He came out of nowhere and said, "Hey! Leave my friend alone!" The bullies left. He came up to me and asked, "Are you okay?" I got up and said, "Yeah, I'm okay." He asked, "Are you sure?" I said, "I'm sure." The one good thing that came out of my high school experience was that I finally met a girl who was perfect for me. This...

Even though I started to feel less depressed, I still wasn't very confident. That's when I got into a bad relationship. She seemed kind at first, but shortly after we started dating, she became so abusive. She abused me physically and emotionally. My mother asked me, "Why don't you break up with her?" I said, "I can't, Mother. I pag-ibig her, and I think that deep down, she loves me, too." Sometimes pag-ibig is blind. I finally saw the light one day. My poor excuse of a girlfriend beat me unconscious and left me for dead in a ditch. My parents found me. I woke up in the hospital. I finally admitted...

The loss of my sister and my beloved dog, Lucky, left me feeling lonely. I soon slipped into a depression. As a result, I began deliberately harming myself. I would often throw myself down the stairs. One day, one of my mga kaibigan noticed that I had bruises all over my arms. He asked, "What happened to you?" I said, "I fell down the stairs. I'm all right." I wasn't all right, but I was afraid to let people know that. There were days that I would lock myself in my bedroom and cry. There were days that I didn't even feel like getting out of bed. Mind you, I never considered suicide. Hurting myself...

One day, my sister went out for a drive. She was always so careful and cautious. I never thought that she would ever be in a car crash, but that night, she was. It wasn't her fault at all. A drunk driver hit her. My parents sinabi to me, "We have to go. Your sister is in the hospital. She was in a car crash." I asked, "Is she going to be okay?" My mother said, "I don't know. They say she's hurt bad." When we arrived, the doctor sinabi that my sister was too badly hurt for him to be able to do anything. He told us to say our goodbyes. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I sinabi to her, "Please don't go!"...

When I was eight years old, I had a near-death experience. I was playing in a river with my cousin. We were jumping from rock to rock. All of the sudden, I slipped and fell into the river. In a panicked state, I tried to fight the current, and I cried for help. Pretty soon, I was pulled under, and everything went dark. After that, things got really bad. I had to be resuscitated. Thankfully, my uncle's neighbor happened to be a paramedic. After five minutes, I had a heartbeat and was breathing again. I could hear the paramedic say "He's okay, but I'm going to take him to the hospital just to...

I often compare my life so far to a rocky road. No, I'm not talking about the ice cream. I'm talking about an actual road that's rocky. My life was definitely not a walk in the park. Make sure you have tissues for certain parts. This is my story. I was born on August 16, 1999. I was the segundo born. I had a sister who was three years older. She was very thrilled to have a little brother. I really looked up to her growing up. She was my best friend and confidant. When I was five, maybe six, I don't remember which, the two of us snuck into the pantry and ate an entire can of tsokolate frosting....
