When I reach into that little place in the back of my mind, where I am alone and individual,

I am happy for the one moment that I am sa pamamagitan ng my self before I get lonely.

Then resurfacing, to face the endless school days,

the piles of homework and the forgotten commitments like signing up to a pag-awit competition that I begin to dread auditioning for.

Then I realise that I was content,

if only for that moment,
