The boys from Colorado’s quiet little mountain town are back for a new adventure.
Ubisoft revealed the trailer to South Park: The Fractured but Whole on Monday at E3. It is the sequel to the popular South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Fractured but Whole references the characters played by the boys during the Coon and Friends arc from season 14 of the series.
Players will delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman whose superhero alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite, Mosquito, Mint Berry Crunch and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history.
As with the tone of the first game and the television series, expect this game to be profanity-laced and filled with incredibly crude humor, as it references all sorts of things from South Park’s nearly two-decade history. Fair warning, the trailer has coarse language.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole is slated for a 2016 release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
