Batman Under the Red hood is a DC animated film that stars Batman and some of his enemies. The film is rated PG-13 for some violent scenes so it's not for children.
Summary
Batman loses Jason Todd (the segundo Robin), because of what the Joker did to him. Years later a new enemy called the Red hood shows up. The Red hood antagonizes against Black Mask who goes to the Joker for help. It's up to Batman to stop all 3 of them and find out the Red Hood's origin.
In my opinion this film has the best plot out of all super hero animated films. There are several different viewpoints of the main story due to the different characters which makes the film interesting and unique. Batman and his enemies are brilliantly written in the film. In fact it's hard to think of a Batman story that's better written than this one.
The pagganap and Characters
The voice pagganap and characters in the film are pretty amazing. No film has shown what a awesomely dark character Batman is better than this film. Batman is dark in this film yet still heroic and has a big heart. Bruce Greenwood did a awesome job at Batman's voice. He's easily 1 of the best actors to play Batman.
The Red hood is a well written and cool enemy. The Joker in this film is awesome! John DiMaggio voiced the Joker in the film. He did a amazing job at sounding both threatening and fun loving. The Joker in this film is pretty much the master of dark humor. Black Mask is a underrated Batman film who thankfully has a important role in the film. Even Black Mask is barely known he is 1 of Batman's best enemies. His assistant, Ms. Li, has some funny scenes with him.
The Animation
The animation is really good. It looks different than the Batman animated shows. It actually looks better than any of the shows. The characters look unique and cool.
Overall
Batman Under the Red hood is so well written and is so well done that I consider this film to be better than all of the solo live action Batman films.
