Pearl adopted, because kusina sponges are easier to recognize.. And they reflect spongebobs bright personality, because cars would be stupid (and they could also be sunken boats ), different element that's close to water (could be some type of sludge), he absorbs the water around him aswell, same thing as the bath one, he does.. The newer episode where he swims up to blow a bible above water

Hmm.. This is a cartoon and cartoon comes from imagination of the creators so basically it's a cartoon, so apoy IS underwater (imagine that possible) and if mixed it become steam.
I've always wondered that myself..but not everything in a cartoon is supposed to make sense like that,guess it's unexplainable how Spongebob made a campfire and even other episodes w/ apoy underwater..
Hmmmmm so many tanong theres alot of things on spongebob tht makes me wonder, like why is mr krabs daughter a balyena or why does gary meow when hes a snail!!!! xD
