SE storyline in 5x03 - Share your opinion :)

5x03 left me with mixed feelings.I mean it's great that SE has a cosmic connection, some kind of bond that doesn't seem to break no matter what.BUT I'm really worried about how this storyline is gonna play out.I personally don't like the idea of SE being together and falling for each other because of some "forced" destiny, fate or being programmed.And I, sa pamamagitan ng any means, think that this idea can even stand logically but then again I'm not Pagsulat the show.

Since I'm a little troubled about this episode I would really appreciate if you would share your opinion with me and discuss the current revelations.Here's what I think: Starting from what Tessa sinabi to Damon, there's definately some truth to it meaning that Stefan and Elena's meeting wasn't walang tiyak na layunin or a coincidence.So the universe brought them together and gave them the chance to get to know each other and maybe brought this undeniable attraction but that's it.I'll never believe that S and E are programmed or whatever to pag-ibig each other and to want to be together because that theory (except of being ridiculous) indicates that both Stefan and Elena have no free will and not their own, unique personality that allows them to decide about their feelings, their thoughts or even their lives.But we all know that's not true, so the alleged "forced" pag-ibig that I heard about can't really stand.(or I'm just overanalyzing)
Also if what Tessa sinabi about "watching versions of Stefan and Elena find each other like magnets always the SAME story- conquering all, falling in love.Destiny has been TRYING to get the doppelgangers together forever." was 100% true then SE wouldn't really have a choice but to be together.We all watched SE fighting and breaking up and being apart and now Elena being with Damon so they have control of their actions and feelings, for the most part at least.They CHOSE to be apart and they also CHOSE to be together and to pag-ibig each other and to keep fighting for each other.The word trying itself proves that the universe (or whatever you want to call it) doesn't make them pag-ibig each other, it just gives them the chance.
The story IS NOT always the same as Tessa claimed.We have proof for that too.Stefan and Katherine's story is totaly different from SE's story.Katherine loved Stefan but she always loved herself madami and Stefan never loved Katherine for what she really is.He loved the innocent human girl and never the manipulative vampire that in order to be with he had to be compelled.So the meeting had to happen and maybe the attraction too but no one and no "cosmic power" whatsoever forced Stefan to trully pag-ibig Katherine no matter what.And he never did.And that's because pag-ibig can't be forced.Stefan and Katherine failed.So how did Tessa watch the same story play out every time when we evedently know that Stefan, Elena and Katherine's feelings in each relationship were so different?
SE met each other and were drawn to each other because of their fates that are bound BUT pag-ibig is another thing.Universe may have brought them together but what happens after that and in what develops their meeting is totaly up to them.SE fell for each other because they are happy and whole together, because they make one another's life worthwhile and important and so on...They worked, not because of some universe-fate but because of what they are and what they need and crave and believe in.The meeting was destined but the pag-ibig wasn't.Love came along the way as SE discovered that they belong because they suit and complete each other.It's undoubtedly rare to find a perfect match.They did.
As long as that is clear I'm ok with the storyline.
I loved the scene where Elena found Stefan and how she looked at him and the scene in which she gave him his daylight ring.That's why SE are perfect: small moments with huge meaning and emotional debth.
Also, Stefan losing his memories is going to be very interesting and Elena's reaction to it too.We have to wait and see.After all this is Vampire Diaries so anything can happen.(Btw, I still have a lot of tanong about the doppelgangers.)
But then again I can't be 100% excited because the future and the development of the story is too blurry and ambiguous yet.I just want one simple thing: our beautiful and perfect SE can never be ruined (or at least let Stefan be happy.He's way too good for the misery he's getting).
Sorry for my babbling but I had to get my thoughts (that are still pretty confusing to me) out.If you were patient enough to read this I would really like to know your opinion about all these or anything else.:))))

darkwarrior647 Hi delena fan here,I must say you have written an amazing article doudalalou with regards to SE cosmic connection that needs to be questioned, though I'm a DE fan but I respect your opinions now I've seen no one responded to your article so I'll share my thoughts with you. First of all I don't see how SE can be together because if what Tessa is saying is true then it should have been stefan and katherine instead because there shouldn't have been 2 versions of Amora in the same era. Think about it and I know you support stefan and elena but according to Tessa and Silas, Silas was in love with Amora right but what the fanbase doesn't realise what if Amora wasn't in love with Silas, what if she was in love with someone else? the story is still developing, what do you think?

doudalalou darkwarrior647, first of all thanks for your lovely comment.I too believe that the doppelganger story has yet to be fully developed in order for everything to be explained.Right now anything is possible in regards to Amara and the whole story behind her and Silas and what really happened.About Stefan, Katherine and Elena (I don't understand why Elena was created too) I don't think that Stefan is a "match" with Katherine or with anyone.That is because the destiny doppelganger connection, as I fathom it, doesn't force anyone to be with anyone.It's not like Elena had to love Stefan, or Stefan to love Elena or Katherine.The universe gave them the CHANCE to meet but SE loving each other was optional and it happened because these two people by finding each other they became whole.So what Tessa said (who by the way is a crazy, psychotic, obsessed and paranoid person) can't be absolutely true.Life itself (for example,Stefan and Katherine failed) contradicts her sayings. So of course I am a SE fan and I want them to be together but I believe that if that ever happens it has to be in the long run and not right now because they have to rediscover one another from the start.I don't know where the story is going but I just don't want SE's love to be underestimated.

darkwarrior647 I am impressed with you doudalalou,you are one of the few SE fans that earned my respect well done and I'm glad that you are fan who respect a DE fan opinion, yes you could be right about the cosmic connection, it may not be the full story and besides if what you saying about destiny bringing SE together then the choices they make(falling in love)should solely be on THEIR CHOICE not destiny making them fall in love,you are 100% right about that and I agree with you, I want DE to be endgame but it must be fair and square and I expect the same from you from and SE fan as well. I can't say much about your last statement since I'm a DE fan(lol) but all I can't say is MAY THE BEST SHIP(and shippers)win.

doudalalou Everyone has his own opinion and has the right to express it.After all it's a tv show which we all love for different reasons(and sometimes some of them are common).There's no point in fighting or disrespecting other fans since everyone watches and interprets the show according to his tastes and his point of view.I must also admit that you are one of the few DE fans who are willing to exchange ideas with maturity, so I really appreciate that.You adore your ship and I adore mine.There's nothing wrong with that and of course I agree that the couple which will end up together(if the Salvatore brothers don't get tired and leave together-you never know,anything is possible ;)) has to prevail fair and square.I think we all want that.Anyways, thank you for your comments and if you ever want to discuss something about tvd with someone with another perspective you're welcome to talk to me.Season 5 seems very promising and the future really vague.After all that's partly the beauty of tvd.I guess we have to wait and see. :)))

whateverstelena I actually think the writers made almost EVERY character on the show ship Stelena + making their relationship a 'prophecy' and 'destiny' and all that to make everyone believe that by being together, DAMON and Elena are 'defying fate' or 'two against the world' or whatever, attempting to make everyone want them to be endgame.

doudalalou I think you have a point here.When I wrote this article shortly after 5x03 had aired, I couldn't have imagined the trajectory the show and SE specifically would take.After seeing the whole season I can definitely say that I'm really disapointed.They ruined SE and demoted Stefan to some kind of counselor on the DE relationship which doesn't make any sense to me.:(
