At 9am the Winchesters left the motel and headed towards the crime scene. ‘Stupid monkey suits’, Dean thought to himself, whilst rapidly pulling on the neck of his tie. (One of the many things he hated was the suits.) He gave up and decided to check his pocket for his I.D. Today he would play the lucky role of James Hetfield the lead singer in Metallica. As a reaction Dean immediately started to hum ‘four horsemen’. ‘Classy’ Dean thought. The interior of the apartment was similar to the outside. Crumbly and old. ‘Well this is a crappy place to live.’ He wondered what it would be like growing up in an apartment like this, surrounded sa pamamagitan ng the city. Thinking of it almost made Dean thankful for his up-bringing.
“You’re sure this is the right place?” Dean asked, glancing at his brother. Across the room, somebody’s head shot up and looked towards dean, surprised sa pamamagitan ng the sudden breach of silence. He was only young, probably in his middle twenties, and he wore a slightly faded red uniform. Not waiting for a reply from Sam, Dean Flashed his badge at the man, and crosse the room towards the stairs. The boys finally made it to apartment 16B. Dean pushed open the door to reveal a large room filled with florescent yellow number cards and a large chalk drawing in the shape of a body, it was completely surrounded sa pamamagitan ng blood.
“God, it looks just like CSI” Dean chuckled, watching his brother pull out an EMF and pace the room. It gave of a few faint beeps before dying down.
“Nothing on the EMF” Sam sinabi disappointedly, this wasn't going to be an easy job. "So what do you think were dealing with, 'cause this doesn't look like our usual"
"Im not sure... There was nothing in Dad's journal. Your going to have to do some research." Dean smiled at his brother, who just ignored him as usual. "There seems to be a chain going on" Dean continued "so we just need to find the link." Sam turned to dean and frowned.
"It's not that easy; They're all different ages, The genders seem to be random, and they have no background connections." Sam informed him before returning to the EMF.
"Well, they're all dead, Thats a start."
Dean wandered round the apartment, it was quite empty He could tell this was going to be a hard case, Sam was right there was nothing to go off. Out of the corner of his eye, dean noticed a computer screen flicker. He quickly scanned the screen, and froze. "Oh Crap..."
