I was so sad that they never got to meet the real Adam =( ♥

but other than that it was an awesome episode! ♥

I would give this episode a high rating for the action, drama, Sam in danger :), Dean being trapped - but I still really hate the idea of there having been a third brother. That totally sucked, I wish the writers never would have gone there, and I'm going to try my best to pretend this episode never happened. :(((

I think that it was a bit boring and I also hated the idea of a third brother.Kripke that was a low blow!!!!

I think the episode was ultimately pointless as Sam and Dean never knew the real Adam, it just made me lose a bit of respect for John as he protected Adam from the monsters and not Dean and Sam. Plus Adam was a miserable character (even though it wasn't really him, it was a ghoul blah blah) it was just DEPRESSING and not in an emotional, angsty way but just a bit dull. I don't know why they ever came up with Adam as it hasn't progressed the story and in fact, I feel more depressed than ever about Dean and Sam as Dean obviously didn't say that Sam was like John as a compliment. I think I really hated this and I don't like feeling like that about Supernatural. Oh, the best bit was when Dean lost to Rock paper scissors again hehe!!

Wow so much hate for no real reason. John never made Adam a hunter becuase he never needed to. Adam had a mother and also John never knew about him until the boy was 12 I mean come on.
The point of this episode was to show that Dean and Sam never knew their farther and also showed that they where never meant for a simple life. It also showed how Sam and Dean are growing apart (or a very different) which Sam wanting to take the forceful route and Dean wanting to take the peacful route and let Adam live a normal life.
Also people saying it sucks theres a 3rd Winchester is dumb becuase he wasn't a Winchester.

It's not hate, rookyboy, it's deep disappointment over a sideline that was totally unnecessary and took a lot away from the solidity of the Winchester family: John, Dean and Sam ONLY. I disagree that the point of this episode was to show that they never knew their father; IMO, the only point was to show that Sam was a lot like John, and most people already knew that. We also already knew that Sam and Dean were growing apart.

Technically, yes, they were half-brothers. But never once was that said in the show, and the implication to the viewer was that they should be considered brothers. Adam certainly was a Winchester, even though he went by the name Milligan. John was his father!
And excuse me, but saying someone else's view is dumb shows a certain level of immaturity that has no place in fandom.

I wasn't say an opinion is dumb I was saying that he wasn't a winchester and calling him one is wrong.

Well...we each have our views on this one, ;)

So awesome! But i was abit gutted about Adam dying and Sam was creepy!
