I do pity the angels for having to blindly follow orders and essentially have no life of their own- but in the end they aren't human so i have a harder time relating to them. That's why I like Anna so much- she chose to be human.

I feel sorry for ghosts too, but most of them were psycho killers when they were alive. Shapeshifters have an excuse to be crazy- they were born freaks and from all accounts punished for it. It's no wonder that they go insane.

Demons are humans who ended up in Hell for something they did and most of them take such obvious pleasure in what they are that I can't feel sorry for them.
