-Vampirella x

End of Part 4:

Jane's POV:

Hordes of other children, all around the same age, flanked her on either side. They surged toward us, but no matter how hard we tried, they wouldn't be incapacitated.

Something was blocking our powers.

Alec stood beside me still; he was concentrating just as hard on the children as I was.

Then, before I could comprehend what was going on, they sweeped Alec up and took him away.

"No!" I yelled, trying harder than I ever had before to use my power on someone. But it didn't work.

I was nagyelo with horror as the children carried my brother away...

Part 6:

Jane's POV:

He was gone. Alec was gone. My legs buckled beneath me. The pain was too much to handle. It weighed down on me; my head and shoulders sagged.

What am I going to do? I thought.

After a few tortured minutes, my agony filled mind realised the course of action I would have to take. I had to tell Aro. I couldn't do anything to save my brother without his help.

So, though every movement seemed impossible, I got to my feet and walked slowly up the stone steps.

Then, a heavy weight hit my back. I spun around, knocking it off my back, whatever it was. It fell to the floor. I grabbed it, lifting it up sa pamamagitan ng it's neck.

It was a small boy. Another vampire child. He bared his teeth at me, his blood red eyes burning like apoy with the desire to kill.

But I held him at arms length, crushing his neck in a vice like grip.

"You. Are. Not. Going. To. Get. Away. With. This." I growled, squeezing his neck tighter until he squealed in fury and pain. "We will wipe you out. Every. Last. One!"

Then I marched into the castle, still gripping the child.

I ran down the corridors, until I was nearly at the room Aro was in. I could hear Demetri and Felix in there, too.

"A problem? How is that?" Aro was asking in a slightly amused and befuddled tone.

Then I burst through the doors. Aro, Demertri and Felix turned to look at me.

"They're everywhere, Master!" I announced. "The immortal children! And they're about to reveal us! Reveal us all!"

Aro's expression was appalled, as he finally seemed to put two and two together.

"Well, then, we must solve this problem presented to us." He decided, and began to march out of the room.

The pain returned to my thoughts as I realised he only knew one part of the problem.

"Jane, dear one, what is it that's upsetting you?" Aro asked, his voice gentle.

I looked up at him. I knew that all my agony must be ipinapakita on my face, because Aro's eyes widened a little in shock.

"It's Alec, Master. They took him away."

There was a beat of silence.

"How?" Aro breathed.

I held my hand out to him. He took it and began pagbaba my thoughts as I started crying. I hadn't cried in all my many years as a vampire.

When Aro released my hand, he knew everything. He also knew that if we never got Alec back, I would never do anything again.

I wouldn't fight. I wouldn't go on missions. I wouldn't use my power. I wouldn't do a thing.

Because me and Alec were one. Without him, I was nothing.
