After John had finished in the attic, he took the children outside and played hide and seek with them. Clara decided to make it interesting sa pamamagitan ng blindfolding him. John knocked on the door, Clara jumped out of her kama and opened it. John went in as Clara took a look around to make sure they weren't seen. Once she shut the door,John pushed her against it and began halik her. Clara moved her hands so they wrapped around his neck whilst his rested on her hips. That night, Mr Roberts asked John and Melody to stay as it was getting late. They agreed and went upstairs to get comfortable.

That night John lay awake in bed, thinking about all the different futures he could have and all that he had to do was say yes or no. But the bigger issue was which women would be sa pamamagitan ng his side?

Clara had tucked the children into kama and began to get herself ready for a nights sleep but she also had other thoughts on her mind. As the afternoon approached, Clara was yet to hear from John which was unlike him. All she could think about was seeing his name on the document in Mr Robert's study. What does it mean? Is John leaving? She was so distracted she never noticed that Amy was talking to her.

After everyone had retired to their rooms for the night, John slipped a note under Clara's door asking her to meet him in the lounge.
