Is Thalia Asian now?

I keep seing her as London Tipton, or Wendy Wue (was that who she played in the karatee movie??), and that cant be Thalia. Thalia has a whole different vibe to her and I'm not sure Brenda can pull that off. Thalia is smarter, palamigan and madami serious then that, I won't be able to picture it and the whole movie will go downhill no wonder how true they stay to the book.

And Thalia is one of my paborito characters so Chris Columbus don't you dare ruinning her.
But on the bright side, I heard someone suggest Kristen Stewart, so Brenda Song is actually an improvement.

Aw, it's gonna become preety lame if they change Thalia as well... The pelikula are destroying the story for crying out loud! Thalia is neither Asian nor some funky fashion diva like Brenda Song...

hmmm well disney does pag-ibig to change things from the story. I could see her as thalia, if they are changing thalia to an asian girl.

It's really funny that in pelikula they try to find faces that have been seen before in other pelikula did somewhat good and proven themselves. They don't want to take risks so they don't try new people. I mean ok if they don't change anything about the book in the film then it becomes the film of the auther not the director and even RR sinabi that he has nothing to do with the movies, but Brenda Song for Thalia? That's just too huge for a change since they can't actually maintain Thalia's characteristic with her without giving her a total make over and buwan of lessons on how to be serious and even some occations cruel and hearthless, that'll never work!

in case you haven't noticed, the director for the Percy Jackson pelikula doesn't care about the ethnicity of the characters in the book to actors who will play them. black grover as evidence. so they can make an Asian Thalia, a black Grover,, maybe they'll make a Mexican Nico who knows?!?!?!

Oh, wow. Stupid director. I mean common! Isn't RR a little mad! I mean this is way to far. She can't be Thalia whats so ever! She is way to giddy. She has been tought to be stupid and happy and selfish. Because of the Suite Life on Deck/Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Though I will give her some credit. In her Wendy Wu movie she was pretty good. She had to be serious and all and she did do a pretty good job of it. I can see her a little but I still think she is all wrong for this part. She should stick to the Suite Life stuff. It suites her better.

That is stupid to have her be gothic, but I could see it since Grover was black, Annabeth was a brunette and Percy didn't have green eyes, Jason would have to be Asian too, at least Mr brunner was ok. They didn't even ipakita Mr D or Ares.

This could be as bad as Eragon, Arya was a redhead instead of dark hair, Eragon was blonde instead of dark hair, saphira looked madami like a bird. Horrible casting, no dwarves, AryaxEragon happened too early only murtagh was any good
