The Host is about what would happen if aliens came to our planet and took over our bodies. In the book these aliens are called "souls" and have taken over planet Earth.
Our narrator is a soul called Wanderer who takes over a body which had known about the aliens before being captured. The person who orginally lived in that body, Melanie, is still there and convinces Wanderer to find her brother and her love, Jared.
Wanderer goes in paghahanap of these humans, using memories that Melanie provides. Wanderer finds herself amoung the "last" humans on Earth and goes through the hardships of everyone hating and distrusting her for being an alien.
The ending is unexpected and there are plenty of twists and turns throughout the book. The beginning is a little slow, but stick with it, because when you get to the tunnels it gets really good. I recommend pagbaba it :)

I loved it, it's hard to pick between The Host and Twilight on which is my favourite.

just finished it its awesome its about these aliens called souls which have to live in a body to survive so they came to earth and gradually took over sa pamamagitan ng killing the human but this is about a soul with an unwilling body who nos wats going on and so trries to resist and the sould starts to pag-ibig the people the host (body) loves. its complicated but a lot happens its verry good
