well a good book I've read was umm, Prey. If you're into all that science fiction stuff which clearly you are since you read The Host. Its a really good book. A little depressing but it's a good read. seriously..

you could also try uh, the Gemma Doyle trilogy. I forget who its sa pamamagitan ng but it was awesome. So awesome i cried

Nothing really. But I've read Pillars Of The Earth sa pamamagitan ng Ken Follett and Under The Dome sa pamamagitan ng Stephen King. They're really great, but difficult to read. If you want something simpler, something madami like The Host, I have to recommend The Hunger Games sa pamamagitan ng Suzanne Collins. Read about the book, I think you'll like it.

The Hunger games were pretty cool... the third book is coming out in September!

Well, if you want to continue with the theme of science fiction or "magic realism" maybe Michael Ende or Isaac Asimov. There are also good latinamerican authors of this "kind" like Gabriel García Márquez and Juan Rulfo. And if you want to play it safe, read Jane Austen, she never fails and she's my personal paborito :D.

You can Read the immortal Instruments (City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass), I just read Black Hills sa pamamagitan ng Nora Roberts I loved it!!!
Hunger Games and The Immortal Instruments series are both really good recommendations, you could also try Graceling it's pantasiya not really sci-fi but it was a great read.

Yeah, there is romance in this story...it has other stuff too but there is a pag-ibig story also...hope u enjoy it if u read it!

Another good read after The Host is 'Evermore' sa pamamagitan ng Alyson Noel,from the Immortals series. It's about an Immortal called Damon and a girl called Ever who has just Nawawala all of her family in a car crash. Just like my all time favourite book The Host,I couldn't put this book down.
