I loved Rue, she was one of my favorite characters, I was so sad when she died.

i loved rue too.. but prim is such a cutee.. even when Katniss talks about her, I just want to hug her and protect her she seems so vulnerable.. but still she helps her mom heal patients.. and in the beginning when her shirt just kept getting untucked.. i wanted to cry shes so fragile! thank god she didnt go to capitol!

When they first mentioned a little girl being one of the tributes, I was so sad cuz I knew she was gonna have to die for Katniss to win (they couldn't kill off Katniss, of course) and I hate it when little kids die, even in books.

I cried during so many parts of the book, particularly this one.

I couln't believe that she died.

Rue was one of the best characters in the book. I was crying when she died. I was horrified when they mutated her. My impression of Prim was a sort of needy child, but I agree, we didn't really see that much of her.

I liked Rue because she was one tough girl she had survival skills I agree also that if we would have seen more of Prim then maybe it would have been different.

i really loved rue and she was one of my fav characters and i was so glad when she joined up with katniss and about in tears when she died!:( but prim seams so fragile like if she got pushed then she would break into a thousand piece! so i really couldn't choose between the pair but because i got to know more about rue i choose her!

i cannot believe Rue died. i guess that just makes it realistic, knowing that not everyone you love can live, but wow did i bawl my eyes out when it happened. but on the other hand it's possible one of my favorite scenes with katniss singing to her. & btw i barely ever cry bc of books & movies...

I liked both Prim AND Rue, but I picked Prim because she's losing this :P They're both sooo cute! Rue can take care of herself better than Prim can, I think, judging by the books, but Prim's Katniss' little sister... I don't know, I loved them both! I was in tears when Rue died, I couldn't believe it! And I hardly every cry when I'm reading a book or watching a movie... So that's saying something...

I felt a closer connection to Rue because Katniss spent time with her, closely, whereas Prim is in the book but not really at the same time.

Contrary to popular opinion, I thought Rue's death was one of the best scenes in the book. I like death scenes, I'm weird like that.

Rue all the way. :( So sad she died. I cried for her. :'( Prim is so sweet and cute too, but I love Rue, because she was taking care of her family by herself, and she had such a wonderfully sweet personality, and I love the mockingjays. Her death scene was the saddest, but one of the best scenes in the book, according to me. So sad, though. I wish she could've lived. But I love what Katniss did for her. And what Peeta did in book two, though I don't want to spoil it. May Rue be in her flowery meadow, sleeping, peacefully, happily.

i loved both and was sad when both died but rue had a little bit 'more' than prim f you know what i mean and rues death was sort of beautiful what with katiss singing and the flowers where as prims was just plain horrible and cruel i was too awful and didnt really sink in immediatley i had to reread that bit to understand what had happened and when i did i was more horrified than anything that all that katniss did taking her place in the games just to die anyway

Rue is my fave character! When Katniss sung to her and put flower sin her hair I was in tears; which is VERY rare for me! I NEVER EVER cry during a book or movie!

I Loved both Rue and Prim... it was a hard choice... but I chose Prim cuz she IS soooo vulnerable, and she's lost sooooo much in her precious life, her Dad, part of her Mom, she watched Katniss nearly die in the arena twice...and saw her Sister fall apart which apparently NEVER happens, and yet she stayed standing strong until the day she died... I really loved Rue with all my heart, and I nearly cried when she died...It was sooooo sad!!! :( =(
