Bonnie was resting in Damon’s arms. It was such peaceful place… Every time she was with that monster, she would feel impossibly safe. How could that be?
Bonnie didn’t have the answer, but she would stay there forever anyway.
“Are you hungry or thirsty, baby bird? I know you need to feed madami often then I do.” Damon asked breaking the silence while stroking her hair.
Her stomach was already complaining about the lack of food, Damon had probably heard....

“Oooooh... Gorgeous!” Bonnie said.
Damon had his head in her lap and she was stroking his hair. He opened his eyes to see an exquisite maiden looking at him with warm brown eyes.
“He is absolutely gorgeous. That’s why I’ve always been drawn to him.” Elena said.
Damon lifted his head and saw her tender blue eyes. She was holding his left hand.
