why do people like bamon?

Ok, i'm team delena, so i want damon to be with elena and not bonnie, anyway i can understan why people like stelena, they might be kind of cute and whatever, but i have never understood why people like bamon.

I really like them when they're fighting, because it is the hottest thing ever. That's not interesting when girl sees boy, after one araw they fall in pag-ibig and there is no any growing. That's why I can't understand how Bamon fans can like Stelena, when those two couples are so opposite. I even see madami similarities between Delena and Bamon. That's why I ship them both (Bamon and Delena).

I can see how they would like Stelena. Maybe they just like the whole "respecting-your-love-interest" thing, because Stefan clearly respects Elena.
