I understand why a lot of people hate Klaus. He's a psychopathic murderer who only cares for himself. Obviously evil. But whenever Liking or disliking Klaus is brought up, I notice people always say "He killed Jenna!" Yes, that's awful. But it would be a tad hypocritcal if that was the only reason someone hated Klaus.

If you look back on it, Damon killed a lot of characters to. Certainly, Klaus probably wins on the total death toll, but I feel like I'm the only one who remembers Damon killed Zachary Salvatore in season 1. I liked Zach, and he was Stefan and Damon's only family left. It was a maaaaaajor dick ilipat to kill him. Yet I don't see people saying "I hate Damon because he killed Zach". [Oh, and like bdavis98 mentioned, Stefan killed his own father.]

All I'm saying is, Damon and Stefan have both done unforgivable things. They've both been evil, and mahirap paniwalaan assholes. Yet people are able to overlook that, but not Klaus's misdeeds. If you want to hate Klaus, go ahead. Like I sinabi before, he's kinda psycho and evil. After everything he's done, it's justified to hate him. But don't hate him just for the fact he killed Jenna. It just seems hypocritical to me to hate him merely for that fact, when other characters have done things just as bad and we all forgave them for that.

Just for the record, I like both Klaus and Damon's characters. I am willing to admit that they're bad news though. Well, lately not so much Damon. Though turning Bonnie's mom was a really awful thing to do.

Edit: The only point of this artikulo is to point out that hating Klaus "because he killed Jenna" is kind of silly, when there's so much madami to hate him for, better reasons. There have been plenty of great characters killed sa pamamagitan ng our own paborito cast, and we don't hate them for it. That's all.

SpuffyDelena I hate Klaus because he's a pussy that draws ponies when he should be a villain. He's a disgrace for a character.

Manonx I just don't like the fact that he was meant to be the biggest bad villain on this show, and now they keep adding layers to him, like he suddenly likes Caroline. Not that I don't like a character getting layers - they did that with Damon, too, and Damon is my favorite character - but with Klaus, I just don't BELIEVE it.

bdavis98 To be fair and not to look/sound like a biased u should add to ur article the fact that Stefan killed his FATHER which is much worse than Damon killing Zack, because even though we don’t know/like Damon’s and Stefan’s father killing ur OWN father is much worse than killing a distant relative even if he was the last human Salvatore alive And as for the whole Abby thing, in a small sense what Damon did is awful but in a larger picture what he did was pure selflessness and out of love for both Elena and Stefan And no I don’t hate Klaus, yes I know what he has done r awful things like killing Jenna, killing elena, turning tyler……… but I still don’t hate him, it just bothers me that he doesn’t value family as he should family is about people being there for u in the worst times and the best and viscera, which Rebekah has done for him but he doesn’t do it for her or his other siblings

Epicurean @bdavis98 I completely forgot about that. I know I'm missing a ton of examples, but the whole Damon/Zach thing was all I could remember at the time. Also, I was trying to only mention characters we actually grew to like being killed. I never liked the Dad, but I did like Zach. @Manonx Great, you shouldn't believe it. I don't think Klaus is all that serious about it. I know that Joseph Morgan is insisting he is, and I know he probably knows better than me, but I feel Klaus's emotions are open for interpretation. And according to me, he's only interested in Caroline because he's bored.

TeamJacobInigo I just hate Klaus. He should die by the end of this season so they can move on from the Originals (with the exeption of Rebekah and Elijah because they should stay and become friends with the whole group) so they can bring other villains like Shinichi. I like that character. So good as a villain!

vkofyuuki all this hate about klaus and he should die and blah blah..can you guys tell me if he die, what's left for tvd?? 1)elena become a ping pong ball between salvatores 2)forwood become cute, kiss then fight again 3)bonnie struggle to become a better witch (but this storyline will become interesting if she join the dark side) 4)matt and jeremy wondering how mess up their life now 5)the only interesting storyline is alaric and his split personality. klaus technically involve with tvd in the beginning of s2 when katherine desperately trying to get the moonstone to trade for her freedom. so to kill him just because he's not villain anymore or his storyline is boring make me confuse. first, in this show, they're no heroes and villains, they're all the same. everyone kill someone for their own benefit. for example, elena and scoobies gang willing to kill millions of people without feeling any remorse just because they dont have anything to do with salvatores,caroline bloodline. tell me its not selfish then, i move on to our villain. in 3x14 and 3x15, do you see klaus killing people? no right because he get everything he want (family and hybrids). but MF gang push his button by daggering kol. just like he said in 3x11 "if you continue to threaten me, i'm going to be force to retaliate, KILL PEOPLE" next point: "he's not a real villain" every person does not born to become purely evil or purely good. so if you want a real villain, i suggest tvd find a robotic figure just like terminator to destroy all the vampires.

Dair4life I think a lot of people hate him because he is not this all out powerful villain. His scenes are always so repetitive. He is just all out a boring character that needs to go.

Epicurean I understand everyones points, but I would just like to say that this article was specifically addressing people who say "I hate Klaus, he killed Jenna!" Like, out of EVERYTHING, that's your reason? Can't you be more creative? It's not like Klaus is the first person to kill a beloved character. That's all. Of course, I think everyone else's points are really interestnig.

vkofyuuki @dair4life.. do you remember katherine? the awesome villain at the beginning of s2? who constantly kill those who get in her way? who manipulate everyone to get what she want?.... that katherine is a villain who turn into lame character in s3. she just appear to help the scoobies gang and then fled again. she also make a stupid decision by replacing elena in homecoming when she know klaus appear at the dance as well..that girl is a VILLAIN and did she die? no right because of why? the fans..katherine and klaus have huge fandom right now.. writer must think twice to kill them. you say the storyline become repetitive, and you know why? because scoobies gang keep trying kill him even though he's not bothering them anymore (3x14 and 3x15) thats why he start to threaten, want to take elena etc (the repetitive storyline) just my opinion..

Epicurean @vkofyuuki I completely agree with that. I became aware of the pattern before as well. Damon and Stefan were so CONSUMED with wanting to kill Klaus, they didn't even look around to realise Klaus has been relatively docile the last couple weeks TVD time. In fact, everyone else seems to not even give a fuck about the Klaus problem. It's always Stefan or Damon leading the attack. I think maybe they're just bored from living for such a long time and hunting down Klaus is the most fun they've had in a while. xD (Kidding) But it's a good point. If they're not trying to find ways to kill Klaus, what would they be doing? Pining over Elena? I'm starting to think even they're getting tired of that. On a completely different note, how awesome would it be if Damon and Stefan chose each other over Elena? Bros before hos.

vkofyuuki @epicurean yeah agree. family above all. you know, i really tired reading what klaus hater has to said. here's their point:: 1) when klaus become 100% evil like at the end of s2 and beginning of s3 their reaction: i really hate him because he's evil- he kill jenna, turn stefan into ripper, kill tyler bla bla bla. i hope they succeed in killing him 2)when klaus become emotional when confront his biggest fear (mikael)(3x9) their reaction: what the.....?? he's such a crybaby 3) when klaus become a little bit soft, non-threat to mf gang (3x14 and 3x15) their reaction; oh please, i'm going to vomit. this is what you call a villain? he draw ponies for god sake 4) when klaus become bad again- threaten people, manipulative and selfish (3x18) their reaction: oh god, his storyline become so repetitive and boring. just kill him already. he need to go. find new villain,tvd! so my point is, for god sake, what exactly they want actually? everytime he appear, they said something bad about him. wtf. can they just enjoy the show? honestly, i hate katherine but i know a lot of people like her. but i dont post my comment everywhere saying i hate her, she need to die, bla bla bla. thats pretty childish..we need to respect other fans as well. sorry about the rant. i just feel annoy with some of the fans.. just my opinion =)

SomethingGreat First of all I hated klaus since the beginning because if what he did to the scooby gang but it was a love/hate because he was the perfect villian. His scenes then got soooo boring and his character was getting so dull they forced him into a love triangle. People are saying Klaroline shows his layers but screw that. Flashbacks and the family scenes a,so showed that. I don't like him anymore because his character is a waste. He threatens to kill them but their all still there 19 episodes later. He can die and I wouldn't cringe. Katherine had layers yes but did any of the scooby gang fully forgive her. No. And about Stefan killing his father, that was a complete accident, watch the scene again. And if I'm not mistaking the father killed him first. Get your facts straight sweeties. Klaus is boring. Now Elijah, Rebekah is a different story.

Gold-king I hate Klaus 99% because he will use his own family/friends in the most horrible ways and manipulate them until they break but then when those same people he destroys fight back he's suddenly talking about how they have absolutely no loyalty and family should stick together not hurt each other. He daggers his whole family and sticks them in a box and when they wake up he acts as if its no big deal because he knows that they cant do anything in retaliation. He refuses to allow them to have any kind of happiness away from him and if they even think about escaping from him he daggers them again. He treats everyone as if they are his servants then whines when they try to kill him. Another thing he acts like this big bad scary guy that everyone should be afraid of but the minute mommy or daddy appear he starts to tear up and say crap like "you turned me into a monster", "you treated me like shit" and "this is all your fault". Don't get me wrong his parents were terrible but if he truly felt that way then he should just take that White Oak Stake and drive it through his heart Instead of bitching about it any chance you get. Another thing is the way he just completely destroy Tyler's character. Im a huge Tyler fan and honestly everything he did to Tyler made me so furious. He takes away his first loves, kills his pack and then kills his mother leading to Tyler to become a huge jerk who's hated by TVD fandom because Tyler finally wanted revenge (Im not excusing Tyler for trying to kill Hayley while she was pregnant though.) Also the way the fandom babys him WAY too much. This guy can literally kill an entire village of children and the TO/TVD fandom will make an excuse or say he's so devilishly great or he's just hurt, which really pisses me off. Let any other character to that and you would never hear the end of it. Lol I just let out a whole rant. This is seriously why I hate Klaus so damn much!
