Easy, Bella doesn't feel complete without Jacob even if her true love is Edward. i mean, we all know Damon loves Elena with his everything and would do anything for her and even if we've never heard Elena say she loves him, it's clear that her feelings for him go beyond "care", but still i feel like (right now) Bella and Jacob's connection is bigger than Delena's, for example, i have my friend and i have my boyfriend but i love my friend more and i would choose him over my boyfriend any dayeven if i'm not "in love" with him, but the thing is that TVD isn't over yet and anything could happen, this is DE's journey after all and slowly but surely Elena's feelings for Damon will grow into something too strong to be called love =D

What i said in the poll SE vs EB. Elena gives/ will give a chance to Damon but Bella never did. Julie Plec said that both couples will have the same chances to be endgame.

Bella can't live without Jacob, he is such an important part of life, ahe feels empty without him. While Elena surely doesn't feel the same way Damon. Like @delenadarti said, I would always choose my bff over my love. :)

Jacob was selfish, childish & didn't cared about who he was hurting with trying to steal Bella away. They are great friends but gahh their love wasn't real, their connection was that strong because of that annoying kiddy Renesme that's how Jacob explains it later. Damon & Elena have such a great journey, an understanding & they make each other strong, when Damon's around he brings Elena to smile & would go beyond possibility to save her life. That's what I call love.
