Stefan kept getting worse as the days went by. They began to seem like weeks and months. It was an eternity. Annoyed, Edward put in madami effort but still he found himself lagging behind. Eventually, Damon dropped back and ran beside Edward with a smug look on his face. Edward rolled his eyes, and glared ahead.
