I’mma be real here. I’m grateful we got a TG:RE anime adaption at all, but Pierrot heavily fucked the animation on most of the characters somehow. It was lazily done, imo, compared to the previous seasons. Still happy to have RE, though.

Not gonna lie, did not completely enjoy this… Had pretty high expectations for this episode… they cut out some minor details (like Kaneki using his kagune as a replacement for his arm) that I was really looking forward to see… Especially that part where Sasaki is talking to Lil’ Kaneki, I wish it had more weight to it

Lookin forward for the next part though… Kaneki vs. Arima round 2 baby!!!!

Also Shirazu’s death wish about Haru.

I’m really disappointed by this anime, honestly.

Actually it’s gonna be 12 episodes….Bcz it’s a sequence….season 3 was aired to have 24 episodes…but it didn’t…it got divided in 12 episodes…thats why its salled tokyo ghoul re season 2 🙂

That is Kaneki with all his memories. He is working with the CCG now cause him being on their side is the only thing that keeps Hinami alive.

I don’t want to give away too much but basically that’s Kaneki… he does something later in the series that proves he is Kaneki… but you will have to just wait if you haven’t read the manga!!!

I’m not gonna lie but this was dissapointing as hell. The fight was owl was just… Wow. I guess if all this leads up to season 3 then I guess? But still this was pretty underwhelming. Excited for season 3 though.

Honestly this hit me so hard. They missed a bit of details but it was pretty good. Now we jut have to wait four months for season 4.

The manga is still a million times better. My hopes were too high, I did enjoy some parts of this (mostly music) and it’s unrealistic to expect them to add in all of the details of the manga but jeez, the part here with touka and renji seem so out of place because of some missed details. I at least hope they do better next season, especially with animations lol, feel like they lacked there a lot.

おやすみ Haise, I really liked you and would like to have seen more of your coming to terms with Kaneki. I also would have liked to see more of your interactions with Touka and Yomo. I will miss you. Having said that, we now have an Arima trained, post Jason, ghoul investigator Kaneki who just ate one of Eto’s kakuho. Even with repressing his RC cells, this is bad ass on a whole new level. I can only imagine the Aogiri tree carnage ahead.
