I bit my lip anxiously. Gwen was standing beside me, so I grabbed her arm and squeezed.
She looked at me. "Scared?" Her voice was amused.
"Hey!" I sounded squeaky. "Aren't you?"
She shook her head in amusement and turned away.
"Uh... ladies first..." I heard Trent say.
Gwen sighed. At least, I thought it was Gwen... It might have been myself.
"Fine." I gathered all my courage and held my head high.
Gwen nodded and followed me.
Damn, I KNEW that was a bad move! Because, there was Chef (in an alien costume) ready to shoot us.

"Eeek!" I shrieked, stumbling behind. I crashed into something- someone.
"Hey, you okay?" I looked up, dazed, to see Duncan holding me.
"Yeah." I looked down. Why, why, WHY did I make such a fool out of myself?

"Woooaah. That... was seriously pathetic." I rolled my eyes. "I mean, why did I have to fall?"
I stopped and twirled my hair, having the cameraman notice, I think, because he said, "You're so cute."
"Um... thanks?" I waved him away. "Sorry if this sounds rude, but this is supposd to be private?"
Well, it wasn't really private, since I have like a million people watching me.
"Ohhhhh, sorry." He looked embarrased.
I stopped braiding my hair. I looked up at the camera. "No. I DO NOT like him!" I coughed. "I don't like Duncan," I repeated confidently. But I did. I could feel eyes staring at me. I didn't see anyone, but...
"Okay, okay!" I spluttered. "I like him."

(Giggles) "Wow, she likes him big-time! And if I can tell, Duncan's seriously got it bad for her." (Giggles) "And I can tell. Courtney, if you're listening, I'm-I'm sorry. But Duncan... well... Oh hell, what am I doing?" (Slaps herself)

"There's something about that girl... Kiyurie. Rebecca." (Blushes and lowers his eyes) "No, it's not that I like her... no! I DO not!" (Eyes shift uneasily) "Okay, fine. But if any of you dare tell her, you're done. Is that clear?" (Slaps himself on forehead) "God, what is wrong with me? WHY did I just admit that I liked that girl? I don't. I really don't!"

"Pfff... they've both got it bad for each other, dude. I can tell."

My eyes connected with his. He gasped, and I straightened. "Sorry about that."
"Yeah, it's okay."
"Cool." Cool? COOL? What was I thinking?
"Uhhh... guys?" Trent beckoned at Chef. Oopsie. I forgot about him...
"No!" I screamed before I knew what I was doing.
"Kiyurie!" That was Duncan. It sounded so sweet when he sinabi it.
I didn't stop. I kept running. Chef snickered at me, but I dodged him.
Wait... wait... where were the alien eggs usually? I had seen millions of alien movies. I knew. I was a movie addict.

I looked on my GPS thingy. Right... right... left... right... left. Got it.
I just ran, grabbed an egg, and went to tahanan base.
"Yes!" I shouted triumphantly. "First!"
"Way to go, Rebe-Kiyurie!" Chris said. "Let's hope the other winner won't be Duncan..." He snickered.
"Hey! But why?" Did Chris have a thing against him?
"You'll see." He snickered again.
I back-tracked to what Gwen had told me. First two players to grab an egg and go to tahanan base win. They get to choose the teams.
Right. Of course. Ha, I thought. Chris thought he was so smart. But no one ever out smarts Kiyurie.
If the winners choose the teams, they would be playing against each other.
Duh.
And yeah, I was hoping the other winner wasn't Duncan.
I really didn’t want to compete against him. Not only because I liked him, because he was a strong player.
But… but… I started trying to figure out what I would do if I-
“Yes!” That was Izzy. Izzy?
“Second. Nice.” I smiled.
“Huh? How did you get here so fast?”
“Alien movies.”
When everyone else arrived, Chris said, “Congrats to our two winners, Kiyurie and Izzy. You’ll be competing against eachother susunod week. You choose the teams susunod episode.”
Duncan smiled at me. I blushed.
“Um…”
“Cool! Haha! E-scope wins!”
“Now it’s time for… The Gilded Chris Ceremony! We’ll kick off two campers! Besides Kiyurie and Izzy. E-scope.”
Everyone gasped.
“Yes, I sinabi two. Now let’s get moving!”

I voted for Geoff and Justin. I know, Geoff was the party guy and really popular, but Brige and Geoff had to separate. I didn’t want Bridgette to leave, so I voted Geoff instead.
I don’t know why I voted Justin, all I know is that I accidentally tapped the ‘Justin’ button sa pamamagitan ng mistake. (Sorry, Justin. I said, it was an accident!)
“The Gilded Chris’s go to… Kiyurie!” He threw a wrapped tsokolate Chris at me. It fell into my lap. “Hey!” I squeaked.
Chris called some madami names. “Izzy. Duncan. Gwen. Justin (Phew!). Bridgette. Leshawna. Beth. Lindsay. Harold.” He paused. “We’re down to the final three. The last Gilded Chris goes to… DJ! You’re safe. Heather and Geoff, you’re out.”
“What? You guys voted me off? You will pay for this! Do you hear me? You will pay!”
Two weird-looking guys dragged her off into the Lame-o-sine.
“What?” Brige stood up. “Why… why did you vote for him?”
“It’s okay, babe.” Geoff smiled at her. “I’m sure you’ll win this, anyway.”
“Aww… that’s so sweet!” Bridgette jumped on tuktok of Geoff and started halik him, until the cameraman dragged him off. “I’ll miss you!” I watched him call.
“Well, that’s it!” Chris announced. “We have our two winners. Kiyurie and E-scope.” Yes! He got my name right! “Who will they choose? Who will win? Who will walk the Walk of Shame? Find out susunod time on… Total! Drama! Action!”
I giggled, pleased that Chris didn’t catch me. I ducked as he walked past me, muttering, “Great. Now I have two nicknames to remember.” Ugh.
I ran back to the girls’ trailer as soon as I could. That was it. My first day. Pretty good, I thought, feeling pleased with myself.
