Jazz appears in the 2007 trasnpormer live-action film directed sa pamamagitan ng Michael Bay. When the movie producers unveiled the final listahan of trasnpormer characters appearing in the movie, Jazz was described as having a pag-ibig of style, with a hip-hop personality. Using a fluid capoeira inspired style, he can be seen transforming using a windmill dance ilipat in his first scene and saying "What's crackin', li'l bitches?"
