Well, you have to remember Eric is putting the performance of a lifetime with the past couple episodes. In the prebiyu for this week, you can see his real self back again.

No. I figured it was all an act once Eric started having those flashbacks about the werewolves. And I know he's not gay because he had those fantasies about Sookie. Eric was pushing her away to protect her and himself and allow him to achieve the goal he'd been heading toward.

It was the scene at the end with Bill and Sookie that annoyed me. She kept saying how over it was and how they didn't have a chance to be really happy . . . And then she has sex with him. WTF?

No. In the books, the sexual nature of the Bampira is explained as a almost pansexual orientation. They can be straight, but they have no problem with same sex relations, if they can get something from a person.

Eric both in the books and ipakita has always been ummm...willing if needed to go the "extra mile" to get something he wants in return. He has bisexual tendencies (as witnessed with Lafayette) and he put them to good use with Talbot. It happened similarly in book 3 when he flirted with Talbot to get him alone and distract him. Odds are he went the "extra mile" there too, its just not elaborated upon so vividly like in the show.

Bampira have an appetite for sex, anyone who catches their fancy is fair game. No it is great to have openly gay or bi or straight characters having their way with whomever. I think everyone knew that Eric wasn't going to do the deed no what his preference was, he is into revenge- he's a ruthless treat for the eyes no matter who he's with...
