 Abigail Dalton
Abigail Dalton
Chapter One

The sudden death of Abigail Dalton casted a spell on the quiet town of Brunswick, Georgia. Everyone felt utterly dismal as they watched the reporter give the gruesome details. It happened so suddenly and out the blue. Who could have ever killed the sweet 17 taon old girl that made even the grumpiest of men smile at her beauty and charm. It was true that she was beloved sa pamamagitan ng her peers, family, and community. Who would kill her? Well, believe it or not but there were some people who thought she was arrogant, stubborn, vain, and unintelligent. All of those comments may be true but the intentions for her death were pure jealousy.
Hazel Portwood was Abigail's best friend. They were like two peas in a pod. They talked to each other ever since they meet in the 8th grade. Ever since then they were inseparable. Being mga kaibigan with Abigail gained Hazel some much needed popularity. Soon Hazel was the most popular one and you could say that Abigail was not that joyful about Hazel's new found popularity. Hazel was always giving Abigail payo on everything but Abigail wasn't the type to have only one friend and be satisfied about it. That is how Dakota Sterling came into the picture. Hazel didn't like the new edition but eventually she warmed up to Dakota.
Dakota Sterling met Abigail two summers ago. They were both at a camp for the Arts like visual arts, music, and drama/performance. Abigail was forced into it but Dakota was there for the visual arts. She was an amazing artist and the whole camp realized it the first week along with Abigail. Abigail always had to be mga kaibigan with best. She needed mga kaibigan that would make her madami popular so she and Dakota became mga kaibigan that similar week. You could say Dakota was glad she found a new friend but she could tell this would most likely be temporary. Popular girls were never loyal to their friends.
When school started, the three mga kaibigan dominated the school. It was like watching mga model on the runway. Abigail had her silky, long red hair that matched her complexion and those dazzling bright blue eyes only made her madami attractive. She of course was the leader, head cheerleader, and the one every girl tried to imitate. Hazel had curly, short black hair that was perfect for her bone structure and then she had dark green eyes that made her mysterious yet gorgeous. Then lastly, Dakota had shoulder length brown hair and mesmerizing grey eyes. You couldn't have asked for prettier girls to rule the school of Brunswick High. You couldn't have asked for madami vain girls either.
Like I said, on September 23 Abigail was murdered. Hazel and Dakota had to muster through school without her. They did a pretty good job. Hazel became head cheerleader and the leader of her little group that use to be Abigail's. Dakota was the same. She was still extremely popular and had Hazel for a best friend. If Abigail could see them now, she would be proud of all they had accomplished.
This was their eleventh grade taon and they had to unfortunately have tryouts for some new cheerleaders on September 24, the araw after Abigail's murder. They had to do this every taon to give the freshmen a chance to be apart of the group. The only thing bad about sitting in a room with a bunch of nobodies was that the nobodies had no talent. I guess it was fun watching them try to do a split.
"Thank you." Hazel looked down at her clipboard for the name of this girl that just performed. "Thank you, Tracey Martin for ruining our lives with that horrid routine. You should be prisoned for torturing everyone that was within a mile radius. Don't try again susunod year." Tracey lowered her head stormed off and out of the gym. "Next!" Hazel called as another girl walked up.
"Show us what you got," demanded Dakota. She pulled out her clipboard and pen to grade the girl.
"I can't believe I am going to be a cheerleader," she enthused. "First things first, I am changing the uniforms. They are so old school. The skirts are way too short. I think-"
Hazel slammed her clipboard on the mesa and stood up. She had that danger warning in her green eyes. Dakota has seen that look before. That is her death stare and she mostly use it on freshmen that are annoying and think they are so much better then them. "Excuse me miss wannabe but I won't let screwed up girls run my cheer squad. How about you go back to the trailer park you were conceived in and die there! Next!" The poor girl ran crying from out the door. Hazel was skilled at being a jerk. Those that realized how mean the head cheerleader was they left before it was there turn. Then there were two girls left. Reese Kingston, Junior, and Amber Montgomery, Sophomore. Reese seemed like she had potential but all hopes were on Amber. She had the look and the attitude.
"Okay, susunod up is Amber," announced Dakota.
Amber approached them and did her routine. First she started out with a split but only ended up ripping her tight, brown skirt. Hazel and Dakota averted their eyes only because you could tell the humor in them. Realizing her mistake, Amber stood and hid her butt. It was too late. Reese, Hazel, and Dakota were already laughing. Amber twisted on her black heel to leave but just fell flat on her face. There was madami laughter and eventually the nearby janitors were already snickering. Amber let out a high pitch squeak and dashed away before anything madami embarrassing happens to her. Sadly for her, you could hear the gigantic thud she made when she flew into the wall.
"Okay, that was hilarious," nagkomento Reese. She was trying to stifle a giggle but it didn't work. After her giggles were gone, she approached them feeling confident. Her routine was flawless and it very graceful. You would think she was on a professional cheerleading team but this was just the cheer squad for the Brunswick High Pirates.
If Hazel and Dakota didn't have common sense, their jaws would have to be scrapped off the floor but they did and didn't ipakita their shock. Reese was talented and you could easily tell but she was so skinny. It was stunning. Reese seemed a little too skinny but not skinny enough to have a disorder or anything. It was a surprise she didn't break into pieces. "Let me discuss it with me colleague." Hazel turned towards Dakota to see what she thought. Dakota nodded her head and did a thumbs up under the table.
Hazel swiveled in her swirly chair back to Reese who was currently trying to lower her skirt, obviously trying to hide something. Hazel ignored it. "Congrats girl! You made the squad." Reese went into a fit of hysterics. She was squalid her head off but eventually stopped to give a big madala hug to them. Hazel wasn't a hugger but she allowed it this one time. They finally found a potential girl to fill the void Abigail had left behind.

They wanted to invite Reese into their little group but they had to see whether or not she could pass the three test. Abigail started the tradition back in the 8th grade and Hazel felt determined to carry out the tradition. First test, you must be happy if your mga kaibigan want to give you a makeover. They are only trying to help. Reese gives off the wrong impression. Poof. They leave and kick her off the squad. Hazel parked her brand new silver mapapalitan in the driveway of Reese's home. Before she left tryouts, Dakota was able to retrieve her location.
It was a nice house. The front lawn was spacious and definitely green with grass. They had a sign that sinabi something about voting. Hazel wasn't all that into politics to care enough to finish. There were three cars already parked in the garage. You could tell the family was loaded because of their high priced cars. It seemed like Reese belonged in their group. The house was large. It seemed almost seemed similar to the mansion Dakota moved out of to live in that bigger, better one. You could so obviously tell it wasn't the same. Dakota's old one was white and this one was tan brown. They rung the doorbell which made a sound so loud you could hear it outside. Did they really need a doorbell that loud. If so, then their tahanan must be even bigger then was expected.
Reese immediately answered. She still had her school clothes on. The brown dress with the black sinturon around it and the black high heels. It wasn't anything extravagant. That is why they were here. To fix her. "Hey guys," she greeted. She opened the door a hit wider for the girls to slip inside and marvel at the brilliant decor of the home. Forget a mansion, this was rich living heaven. "Let me ipakita you to my room." They had to ride the elevator up towards her room which was in the third level. She didn't fill the wealthy girl part but did she have the attitude, thought Dakota.
Her room was filled with numerous of posters and artist drawings of baby animals. Dakota stared at the art. Her paborito had to be the baby chipmunk. It was resting peacefully against a tree, chipping on a nut. "Is this an original sa pamamagitan ng Louis Vervain?" She questioned as she slid her finger along the cool edges of the artwork.
"Yep, I had him draw me won since he owed me a favor." Reese smiled proudly. She had win over one girl now she had to win over the other.
'Don't trust her,' nagkomento a voice that sounded like Abigail. In Dakota's mind. It was odd. It always felt that Abigail was around them, constantly. In death or life, Abby would never leave them to fight their own battles. She had to be there. But who shouldn't Dakota trust. Reese? It did seem odd that Reese just moved here sometime in August. School had already started but she came about two weeks afterwards. The teachers always sinabi she was a little sick before she came. Maybe she had the murder flu. Dakota heard it comes around, picks a victim, and makes the victim kills an innocent girl. Did Reese have it?
"So Hazel, what are you interested in?" asked Reese. She rocked back on forth on her heel. "Someone once told me that you was very intrigued sa pamamagitan ng pranking. My brother, Jonathan, is a pro at that kind of stuff. Maybe you could talk to him when he gets back."
Hazel nodded. "Cool." She examined the room from head to toe. She had posters of thousands of singers like Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G, One Direction, and plenty of others. It seemed crazy. This girl was obsessed with music or posters, either one.
"I'll go see if he is back yet." Reese scrambled to the elevator and down the stairs.
"One, two," counted Dakota and Hazel. "Three!" They rushed around her room searching for just about anything. They looked at her clothes which were hideous, under her desk, he shelves and even behind her computer.
Hazel was the only one who was successful. "Bingo," she hummed. Dakota checked to see what she had found. It was an old, tattered notebook with some weird doodles on the cover. "It has gotta be her diary." They scanned the first entry which read:

Entry One- December 20
I am stuck in this hellhole. I will also be spending my pasko here. Oh what joy! Sucky life right? It isn't my fault I'm fat even if they all say I am thin. I don't believe them. The doctors say me throwing up when I eat is only natural for someone with my disorder. I say it is my body rejecting the pagkain so it doesn't become fat. I wish I could stay and write out all of my miseries in this rehab center but I can't. I must go for my check up. This time they get to feed my fried chicken. I hate anything fried. It just makes me fat.
Love,
Reese "The Fatty" Kingston

“So we will not speak of or mention the unspeakable event that took place last night,” Darren told us, looking like a stern teacher reprimanding his class.
“For the hundredth time yes!” Edith shrieked.
The sad part was that she wasn’t exaggerating.
We were all on edge, super tension ran from the air, we had left the park with a dispirited mood. Not because of the stupid stone. Iris was supposed to call us when she got home, but the call never came so we called...

Chapter Nine: Escape Artist Can Escape But A Group Of Students Can't Even Escape From Their School

Everyone was ready for the escape plan the susunod night. If it was up to me we would have had everything ready within an oras but tracking teacher schedules was harder then it looked. We were all set and ready to take off that night. I had learned that the school kept two emergency vans in the back. I nabbed the keys from the office when no one was around. I wonder how long it will take them to notice that a set of keys are missing. It was about midnight when our team assembled. Everyone...

Chapter Six: Two Goons, One Girl, One Man, and One Secret Room

The door immediately slammed shut behind me. The one thing I never do is panic. It was the perfect time to panic but I had to keep my composure. I wondered if Darrell was able to escape. He couldn't possibly wait for me. He has the opportunity to escape and save himself. I took one step pasulong and tumbled down the stairs. It was so dark that I didn't even notice them. I had quick reflexives so I was able to stop myself before I crashed or made a sound to ward off the intruder. A light switch was to my left so I flicked...

No matter the coaxing, Stilere stayed stubborn, she wasn’t being left behind. You see, it’s like really early in the morning, how early? Like friggin three a.m., that’s how! I am tired, and I certainly don’t want any spook in my life now.
“I’m coming!” Stilere yelled defiantly, smirking when she saw Alex’s shoulder’s deflate. She’s won the battle.

Book Six- Zoe

How did the battle end? Well, Shane kicked some serious butt. I wasn't so bad myself. The guards may have been ghost but they were pretty easy to kill. All you had to do was kill hem like you would kill a human. It was that simple. It was what made the battle even madami serious then it already was. My sister. She killed herself. That is what it looked like. The odd thing was that The One was nowhere to be found. I searched everywhere in the kastilyo but I couldn't find him. I soon gave up. He wasn't important. My sister was.     I ignored the freaked out yells and warning’s as I went past the speed and nearly demolished the car, we couldn’t take our time, we had to be fast. We finally reached the river, which was very close to the river, and I turned off the engine and jumped out of the car running to the lake.

Now, I don’t hate school, no, not at all. But the thought of going to it for a place of safety, especially with no one but creepy janitors in there, yeah, I’m not liking it.
“How are we going to get in?” Brooklyn asked, eyeing the doors that, in morning look friendly and welcoming, but at night look dangerous and ready to gobble up innocent kids.

All araw long, all araw long

What makes you think you're so damn awesome?
Don't ya know we have a life too, too?
We'd be sittin in watching TV
And I don't think you want that either

We don't have time for homework
We just wanna have fun, fun, fun

We have a life, no time for homework
We can go ahead and play flag football
But I'm not goin inside

Why do you act like
There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet you never liked that when you were young

We've been playin outside
Now it's time to kick in and relax
No madami time for homework, just sit back and do the things I pag-ibig to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.

She had her long blonde hair curled and wore the black wedges she recently bought. The whole outfits was around a seven hundred dollars but she wouldn't mention that to her cheap dad. I had finally gotten rid of the feeling to only have it come back again. This time I saw who it was. "Erica?" A shimmery figure exposed itself to me. THE TRUE MYSTERY IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED IN YOUR LIFE BUT WHAY HAPPENED AFTER DEATH. ARE YOU STILL ALIVE, DO YOU TRANSFER INTO A NEW BODY, OR WHAT? -EMMA

Sophie didn't arrive tahanan until late that evening. That was so like her. She was such a party girl that she assumed that she could ipakita up whenever she pleased. I was getting tired of that. I really needed her today but she was too busy having fun and being social. I had spent the rest of the araw painting a new canvas of a stormy araw with wind, rain, and lightening. It turned out beautiful.
