I cant answer for other people but I know I dont like the Vampire Diaries madami than Twilight but I do like them. They have filled the gaps in between the Twilight movies. People probably tend to like the Diaries alittle madami because they're closer to traditional Bampira than the Twilight vamps. Thats one of the things that I pag-ibig about Twilight...its not traditional.
They're madami of the traditional vampires, while Twilight isn't.But I like Twilight way better:)

Ya know when I think about it, a lot of people pag-ibig Twilight madami than TVD and a lot of people like True Blood more. They all have their devoted fans. When I went to see New Moon I was totally in pag-ibig with it, TVD drew me in again and I loved that more! Then the new series of True Blood came out and I'm totally hooked again, now all the hype is round Eclipse and I just can't wait so it's ok to pag-ibig them all or one.
