It hasn't been sinabi that it's true sa pamamagitan ng either of them officially, but it's pretty apparent that they are dating.

My guess is that their managers are stopping them from going public. I mean, half of Taylor's sex appeal is that he's single and available (giving girl fans, even some guy fans, the idea that they have a chance of being with him, or at least imagining that they do). If he was to have a gf, most his fangirls would be upset and hate Selena (not all, but most). Especially now that New Moon publicity is starting, makes it even worse.

Now in Selena's case, it's her Disney rep. They are probably telling her to keep the relationship hush hush so that she can be a role model for little kids (focusing on her career), as well as her being "single" so that little boys can still imagine that they have a chance with her.

The same thing happened to Taylor matulin and Joe Jonas. TSwift sinabi in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that she wanted to go public but Disney wouldn't allow it since JJonas is a "sex symbol" and all his fans had to keep being delusional and fantasizing that they had a chance with him.

I'm sorry, I'm not explaining it very well, but the Taylor/Selena pictures out there speak for themself. They definately look madami than "just friends."
