Besides, I was always under the impression that once she came of age and stopped growing and the most noticeable aspect of human has gone, she would seem madami vampire and female vampires' bodies can't physically change to accommodate a baby.

No, each creature is designed so that they can only reproduce with the same type of creature. If she had a kid with another half human ( Again shouldn't even be possible, but in Smeyers world science dosent matter.) maybe.

The fact that she was imprinted upon does strongly suggest she'd be able to have at least one child. And I'm ignoring the chromosome numbers because it was only mentioned once, and I don't think Stephanie Meyers realises that it makes the entire story impossible.
