McKenzie Cullen

Prologue

I was Pagsulat in my journal when Mrs. Joan walked over to me and said, “McKenzie, I think your going tahanan today.”

My eyes widened, “Really?” I asked, excitedly.

“Yes dear, a couple is looking for a young child. You’re the youngest here.” she said.

I jumped up off my kama and ran to the door.

“Whoa child! I have to be with you at all times. I don’t have as much energy as you.” she sinabi as she walked herself over to me. I stopped at the door and waited as she walked.

When she reached the door I opened it and held it open for her, “Oh thanks you dear.” she said.

“No problem.” I replied as I shut the door behind me.

We were always friends, though I considered her my grandmother. She was just the only one you could really talk to and she really cared for people. The older kids really take her for granted.

We reached the door to Mrs. Toledo’s door and I knocked lightly. She called us in a few segundos after.

Mrs. Joan motioned for me to go in, while she held open the door. I smiled and sinabi thank you as I stepped in. I looked around the room and noticed the most beautiful couple, they both looked at me and smiled, they were like mga kerubin from heaven.

I was smiling the whole time, knowing today was the day.

“McKenzie this is Rosalie and Emmett Cullen. They are looking for a child.” Mrs. Toledo said.

The girl, Rosalie, said, “McKenzie you’re a very beautiful child, we would pag-ibig to have you in our family.”

What she sinabi really made my day!
