This is my first one so please read and comment. I got my ideas from the Twilight Saga. Hope you like it and if you do I will do more!! Sorry it's quiet short but I want to make baybayin people like it first.
I was cold and wet as I scurried away from the madala that was meters from me. But this madala was oblivious to the fact that I might be his supper. I was crawling on my hands and knees, trying to get away from this creature. But in my blind panic, I slipped and snapped a branch that I was leaning on for support.
A sudden wave of reality hit me. I was going to die. This scared me and I stupidly let out a defeated whimper. This madala looked up, registering the fact that I was a vulnerable target, and started to bilog me. Looking at me from every possible angle.
I closed my eyes and prayed. Please, Please. I could feel this bears warmth on me now. Warming me up. But this madala wasn’t particularly hungry, it wanted to play with its food.
It hit me around the face with such force I went flying. It ran up to me, growling. But suddenly a flash of white and a sparkle distracted it.
I heard the howls of pain from the madala and became instantly confused sa pamamagitan ng what I had just seen.
The last thing I remember was peering into warm ginto eyes that were surrounded sa pamamagitan ng an mga kerubin face. But this face soon turned hard, and flashed a full set of pearly white teeth at me. The teeth bit me, and that is when the apoy started.
…
The pain is the worst thing you can ever encounter in the world. It feels like you are burning, and every segundo of every minuto you want to die. The flames were lapping up my heart, burning it. I didn’t scream, I couldn’t. It hurt so much that I thought if I kept quiet it would leave me, but no.
My puso and the apoy were destroying each other. But not one of them would win. I felt empty apart from the apoy running through me like blood.
After what seemed like years, maybe months, or maybe days, the apoy suddenly left my hands and feet. As quickly as it came it left. At this point I started hearing the most musical voices I had heard in my life. They came in and out of the room as graceful as any creature on the planet. They glided in and out constantly. They even breathed with grace. Each breath significant in its own way.
I don’t know how many people there actually were, but I did know that someone didn’t leave my side throughout all the pain I was going through.
As I was wondering about these people, I started to notice the apoy going out, but with this my puso got slower. It hurt, even madami now, a painful spurt of energy burst through me and I let out a piercing scream. Then it stopped. My puso faltered and just stopped. I looked up and there was the most beautiful face I have ever seen.
