He's fine for Twilight Jacob because he's all young but are they relying on a massive growth spurt in the next year or two?

yea, same here. steven strait will always be my kind of jacob. when i see the actor who will play Jacob, i only see him as a kid, which will be fine for Twilight but i dont see him maturing.

Steven strait is who i wanted also... but ya i think he will do good, but i think steven might have been a little old for young jacob

i'm actually really realieved. when i saw that there was open casting i was afraid the wouldn't get someone who could act very well or look the part. yeah, its a let down that its not steven strait, but this guy will do.

SO EXCITED! hearing him talk on that video was really great. he sounded perfect! hes got great teeth and a great smile. perfect for this movie, i agree with iluvedwardc, itl be interesting to see what they do for New Moon. hes definitely not big enough for the second movie.......if twilight does a good job tho.........new moon will only happen if the movie gets good ratings.

Taylor Lautner is perfect for this role, and Steven Strait is too old anyway. Plus, Jacob is supposed to be young, even if he is overgrown for his age. There's tons of way they can portray that on-screen. The chances of finding someone who grows like that is slim anyway. Just because Steven Strait is the right height for the end of Twilight doesn't mean anything. He's a grown man who won't be getting any taller. Plus, it's been done. It can't be undone.
