If anything tv show because they could never fit all of the information into a couple movies. I believe that it would make a great tv show because of all the characters and it would make an awful movie to... Not that the tv show wouldn't be awful it'd just be better! I personally don't care if they decide to do anything but if they do don't to a movie.
A little side comment here!if they did do a tv show it would be a he'll a lot like Vampire Diares - also I LOVE THIS SIERIES and just because I think it would make a terrible movie doesn't mean I hate it

A movie is definitely better. Whenever any book is translated to a TV show, they change a lot of stuff so they can fit more plots and make things more interesting. It's different with movies. When a book is translated into a movie, they try to make the movie as much as the book as they can get, while only changing really minor things. Sure, things may get cut out, but it's better things get cut out then they get changed completely.

I prefer tv shows to movies.
