Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
2015 is shaping up to be an exciting year for gamers, and 2016 should be even better. Several highly-anticipated PS4 and Xbox One games are coming, as well as some PC and Nintendo console gems. In order of release date, these are the 39 games we\'re most excited about for 2015 and 2016, including lots of new games announced at E3 2015 and their reveal trailers. Sony Online Entertainment first announced H1Z1, a zombie apocalypse survival MMO for PS4 and PC in April 2015, and excited game fans have been talking about it ever since. It\'s available to play now on PC in beta, but is expected to properly launch later this year. You can find out more in our H1Z1 release date, gameplay and screenshots article.
Best games coming out in 2015: Until Dawn
Release date: 28 August 2015, available to preorder now for £44.97.
Another PS4 exclusive now, this one a very scary-looking horror/thriller. Created by Supermassive Games, Until Dawn has already been getting rave reviews after it was demoed at Gamescom 2014. It\'s been described as the "horror-themed Heavy Rain you\'ve been waiting for."

Release date: 4 September 2015, available to preorder now from £29.99
The new Mad Max: Fury Road movie is in cinemas now, but in September we\'ll get a new Mad Max experience in the form of a video game developed for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
It\'s an action-adventure game centred largely around vehicular combat. It\'s in development at Avalanche Studios, the developers behind Just Cause, and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
Release date: 25 September 2015, available to pre-order now
FIFA, the world\'s most famous and successful football game, is set to return with FIFA 16 later this year. Scheduled for a September release, the game features female players for the first time. Here\'s what we know so far.
Best games coming out in 2015: Lego Dimensions
Release date: 29 September 2015, available to preorder now for £72.99
Platforms: PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One
Lego\'s answer to Disney Infinity and Skylanders is coming this year, in the form of Lego Dimensions. The game will use physical Lego figures and a Toy Pad to place them on, and those figures will be playable digitally within the game.
The Starter Pack will include the game itself, the Toy Pad, bricks to build the Lego Gateway and Batman, Gandalf, Wyldstyle and the Batmobile to play with.
There will also be additional packs that contain a character plus a vehicle or gadget, and will unlock a new level. These packs include Back to the Future, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Portal 2 and more.

Best games coming our in 2015: Tom Clancy\'s Rainbow Six Siege
Release date: 13 October 2015, available to preorder now for £39.99
First announced in June 2014 at E3, Tom Clancy\'s Rainbow Six Siege is a first-person shooter with a big focus on the multiplayer element. Destructible environments, teamplay and realism are said to be its defining qualities.
Best games coming out in 2015: Fable Legends
Currently being tested via a closed beta programme, Fable Legends is set to arrive in October, and will be free-to-play for all. It\'s a multi-player game that lets up to five players team up within the same storyline in a four versus one dynamic, where four heroes will fight against one villain.

Release date: 27 October 2015, available to preorder now for £37.99
Halo 5: Guardians has been confirmed by 343 Industries, and the release is expected in 2015 for Xbox One. Check out our Halo 5 release date article for more.
Best games coming out in 2015: Need for Speed 2015
Release date: 5 November 2015, available to preorder now
Need for Speed is getting a reboot, and the new game introduces "Five Ways to Play," which are speed, style, build, crew and outlaw. Each is built around a real-world automotive icon. You\'ll be encouraged to combine all five to create the perfect moment.
Best games coming out in 2015: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
Release date: 6 November 2015, available to preorder now for £40
The Call of Duty franchise is still going strong and next on the list is Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The popular FPS game\'s next instalment is expected in November for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and is the sequel to 2012\'s Black Ops II. Set in 2065 (40 years after its predecessor), the new COD will star futuristic tech including supersoldiers and other military robotics.
Zombies mode will return with its own story and multiplayer modes, too.
Best games coming out in 2015: Star Wars Battlefront
Release date: 20 November 2015, available to preorder now for £39.98
Star Wars: Battlefront is getting a reboot for the new generation of consoles, and will be released alongside the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie late this year. It\'s being developed by EA, and will include playable maps of the planet Hoth and the moon Endor.

Best games coming out in 2015: Rise of the Tomb Raider
Release date: 20 November 2015, available to preorder now for £48.98
There\'s already controversy surrounding the next Tomb Raider game, as it looks set to be an Xbox exclusive, at least to begin with. It\'s the second game in the latest Tomb Raider reboot, following on from the events of the last game that was released in 2013 on both Xbox and PlayStation, hence the confusion about the sequel\'s exclusivity to Microsoft\'s console. Best games coming out in 2015: Just Cause 3
Release date: 1 December 2015, available to preorder now for £54.99
Following on from 2010\'s Just Cause 2, this open world action-adventure game will be set in a map similar to its predecessor\'s but will include all-new caverns to explore, and more realistically scalable buildings. The grappling hook and parachute that those who\'ve played Just Cause 2 will be familiar with are set to be joined by a new (and likely really awesome) wingsuit. Confirmed at E3 2015, a new Hitman game is coming at the end of the year. It\'s the sixth game in the series. Watch the trailer above and find out more by clicking here.
Firewatch is an upcoming first-person adventure game with a scary twist. You\'ll play as Henry, who is searching for two missing women. It\'s decision based, which different choices affecting the environment and possibly even the end result.
No Man\'s Sky is an incredibly cool-looking sci-fi game that lets players explore and survive in an infinite procedurally generated universe. Best games coming out in 2015: Final Fantasy XV
Release date: TBC 2015, available to preorder now for £47.98
The ever popular Final Fantasy franchise is set to be added to with a new game for the new generation consoles later this year, available to pre-order now. It\'s an open-world adventure that is the first of the numbered series to feature action-orientated combat in real time, and it looks amazing.

Best games coming out in 2016: Street Fighter V
Release date: March 2016, available to preorder now
Street Fighter V is expected to arrive in early 2016, possibly in March. It was unveiled late last year at the 2014 PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas, and will be exclusive for Windows and PS4.

Best games coming out in 2016: Uncharted 4: A Thief\'s End
Release date: Previously, Uncharted 4 had a release date estimate of late 2015 but in March, Naughty Dog confirmed that it had been delayed until early 2016.
We are super-excited about Uncharted 4: A Thief\'s End. It\'s an upcoming third-person shooter that adds to the popular Uncharted series, following on from Uncharted 3: Drake\'s Deception but set three years after that game ended. Drake is joined by his apparently not-dead-after-all brother Sam as they attempt to solve a mystery involving pirates and, of course, hidden treasure.

Release date: Spring 2016, available to preorder now
Bethesda used its first ever E3 2015 press conference to reveal that Dishonored 2 is set for a 2016 release. There\'s little information about the game so far, but you can find out everything there is to know so far in our Dishonored 2 article.

Release date: A second game to be set for 2015 but now delayed until 2016. Available to preorder now
This open world first-person shooter is the sequel to the Homefront game, with its story taking place two years after the events in the original.

Release date: TBC 2016, available to preorder now for £39.99

Best games coming out in 2016: Quantum Break
Release date: TBC 2016, available to preorder now for £49.99
Exclusive to Xbox One, Quantum Break is an intriguing upcoming came that includes an episodic TV show that\'ll change depending on the decisions you make during gameplay. There\'s no release date yet aside from 2016, pushed back from 2015, but we\'ve gathered everything we know so far in our Quantum Break release date and rumours round-up.
Xbox One exclusive ReCore is a new action-adventure game set to arrive in the second quarter of next year. The game follows the last few remaining humans on earth and their friendly robot companions, who together hope to tackle obstacles and enemy robots in an effort to rebuild humanity.
Ok, you might have have a wait a while for this but it will be worth the wait, we hope. Although Nintendo has confirmed Zelda for Wii U, we still haven\'t got a solid release date aside from a very vague 2016 (it was 2015). find out more in our Zelda for Wii U release date, UK price, gameplay features article. We had to wait a long time for Mario Kart 8 and it was worthwhile, so we\'re sure the same will be true here.
Zelda for Wii U will be set in a completely open world and Nintendo\'s short teaser is enough to get us excited about the game.

Best games coming out in 2016: Dues Ex: Mankind Divided
Release date: TBC 2016, available to preorder nowPlatforms: PC, Xbox One, PS4
15 years after the launch of the original Deus Ex, Square Enix announced at E3 2015 that a new game is coming to the franchise next year. Mankind Divided is set in an open world in the year 2029, in which the decisions you make will tailor the story, and the ending can be different for each player.

Best games coming out in 2016: Horizon Zero Dawn
We\'re really excited about Horizon Zero Dawn, an upcoming PlayStation exclusive from Guerrila Games. It\'s set 1,000 years into the future, when robotic creatures have taken over the planet. You\'ll play as bow-yielding heroine Aloy as she hunts the creatures and uses their machine parts to her advantage.

Medieval warfare game For Honor sees players take on the role of a Viking, Samurai or Knight, with each faction offering its own unique abilities. Unusually, players use controller\'s analogue sticks to control movements and actions in battle, demanding greater accuracy to be successful. You\'ll find out more in For Honor article.

This one is about to launch, so zombie-fans are getting pretty excited. It\'s a post-apocalyptic survival horror game (if you\'re waiting for H1Z1, which we talk about later in this article, then this game is another one you\'ll enjoy). Freerunning around this open world game is set to be frighteningly awesome. Find out more in our Dying Light preview.

Best games coming out in 2015: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
There\'s not long to wait for UK-based Monster Hunter fans, as the next instalment, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, is coming to Nintendo 3DS on 13 February, to coincide with the launch of the New 3DS, which has several improvements including a second analogue stick which will come in very handy for this game.
Team up with friends to battle monsters and carve items essential for creating better armour and weapons to help you fight even nastier monsters. New weapons include the Insect Glaive and Charge Blade, and new monsters are bigger and better than ever.

The hype surrounding this PS4 exclusive continues to grow as we approach its release date. Set in London in an alternate history, the game follows an order of knights who aim to rid the world of strange monsters that appear to be half man, half animal.
Best games coming out in 2015: Battlefield Hardline
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Windows
The latest Battlefield title from EA has arrived after becoming available in beta form in June 2014, and it\'s called Battlefield Hardline. It features a whole new variety of gameplay, which breaks from the traditional style of previous editions. Instead of a military focus, it moves to police and the war on crime. Players will either be criminals or part of the police Special Response Unit. New game modes are Heist, Rescue, Hotwire Mode and Blood Money. Weapons include UH-60 Blackhawk, tasers and even handcuffs.

Another zombie game for you now, this one adding to the popular Resident Evil franchise as the tenth instalment. It\'s set to be released gradually in episodic format, starting with the first episode on 25 February and being released as a full version shortly after on 20 March. Best games coming out in 2015: Mortal Kombat X
Here\'s one for fans of fighting games. Mortal Kombat lovers will be counting down the days until this tenth instalment in the series is released, with the return of some of the franchise\'s most-loved characters and the introduction of some new fighters.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was named Most Anticipated Game during Las Vegas\'s The Game Awards in 2014, so it certainly deserves a place on this list. It\'s an action-packed, open world roleplaying game that follows on from its two predecessors. The series was inspired by The Witcher fantasy novels by Andrzej Sapkowski.

Best games coming out in 2015: Batman: Arkham Knight
Release date: 23 June 2015, available to preorder now for £34.99
You won\'t want to miss the conclusion to the epic Arkham series. Arkham Knight follows the release of Arkham Origins but is set one year on from Arhkam City. Batman is at the peak of his ability and must confront the supervillain Scarecrow.
You\'ll be able to drive the Batmobile on walls, which is pretty much enough for us but there\'s more. There are new takedowns, the ability to launch higher, glide for longer new gadgets and more. The game looks better than ever so we can\'t wait.
