So you want to buy a vocaloid but don't know where to start? Well I'm hoping that sa pamamagitan ng Pagsulat this I might be able to help some, there's a lot of confusion and options out there.

First, obviously figure out which vocaloid you want to buy. Remember to take into account how challenging they are to use (varies from vocaloid to vocaloid), any language barriers (If you don't know Japanese, don't buy a Japanese only vocaloid!) and what system requirements are needed to run the program (though this shouldn't be to much of an issue, check anyway). Also it might be worth it to look and see if there's going to be an updated version of the vocaloid coming out soon if your buying a V2/V1 vocaloid. It might be worth it to wait for the V3 to come out since vocaloids are rather expensive. Why not get the latest stuff? They are computer software when it comes to it, stuff gets outdated.

segundo were to buy? This is were a lot of confusion comes in. THERE IS NO LEGAL WAY TO GET A VOCALOIDS FULL VOICEBANK LEGALLY FOR FREE. If you want a free voicebank, look into getting UTAU. While you can get vocaloids through e-bay and Amazon, I highly recommend buying from the company that sells the vocaloid you want, website. With E-bay your getting used, for expensive computer stuff that can be iffy, with both sites you risk getting counterfeit voicebanks. Unless you know what your doing and trust the buyer, I do not recommend using e-bay, amazon, or any other site; regardless of how much money you might save.

Thirdly, and this is were problems with buying can happen, is the price. I will tell you right now that the average price of a vocaloid is about 150$-200$. If your getting a V3, its recommend to buy the V3 editor and that's about another 100$. These are price ranges taken from the official company websites, so if your on E-bay thinking Miku for 75$ awesome, there's probably a very good reason for that price, and its probably not a good one. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Lastly just remember that if you want to make a good song, it will take some time, you will have to mess around with the program. Good songs do take effort, but are worth it! Fun fact, people becoming to frustrated with the program to make anything good was how Neru was created! Just saying don't go putting 200$ into something you don't think you'll be able to commit to! Which is to say, don't let what I just sinabi totally stop you, if you have the time and patience go for it!

Well that's about it for now. Just some things I hope a person buying a vocaloid might take into consideration. They are expensive so make sure you know your stuff before putting your money into it. Remember when shopping that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

At the boundary lines mixed with jokes,
a little farther ahead of the stairs,
there is nothing good there at all, huh?
Shall I try to guide you instead?

Are you going to dance terribly
and stumble on the tuktok of the altar?
I'm sure people will be dazzled senseless, though,
so what do you say, together right here!

The high-pitched voice has filled up this room,
swirling around some disgusting meanings.
Of course there is nothing good at all,
so now let's scream it out with all our strength!

"The meaning tied to those short phrases,
the reason for hating someone you've never met,
no matter how...

"Riku-chan, your finally back!"
Len looked up from the sheet of music he was trying to write lyrics on to see Rin and Miku run to the door.
Standing there was the youngest of the Vocaloids, 13-year-old Riku.
She had on a white palda and a black short sleeve sando with white armwarmers. With her bakcpack in one hand, she smiled happily as she was pounced sa pamamagitan ng her older sisters.
Riku, you see, is a new type of vocaloid. She isn't kown sa pamamagitan ng anyone, not even the ocational fanatics who stalk them. She is kept a secret because she isn't fully complete yet. She still has to go through with all of the singing...

I was bored and started translating this. I didn't translate the pamagat because thoughts from it. I'm just warning though, the PV suggest Kaito/Len, even though it's a Kaito song. Please don't get into any shipping debates. It's not necessary. Also I translated the dialogue at the end, but not Rin's warning-thingy at the start. uwu

It's the season I met you in,
and all the bulaklak are changing.
I want to dye your white piano roll
in my own colour.

You've flown way up.
Do you still remember that cold winter's day?
I want to hold your body,
small and fragile as it is, as tight as I can, 'til it...

It was a typical araw for the Vocaloids. They have just finished recording their latest song and are exhausted. Leaving their studio building, they say their farewells as each of them headed home. Miku, while exhausted, was starting to have a form of boredom. For most of the oras she paced around and around from the living room to the kusina pondering on what else she could do. oras after hour, she couldn’t think of anything. She decided to watch a little TV. Flipping channels, she started to drift to sleep until one channel caught her attention. It was a channel about roller-skating- something...
