Gotham Knights is a 2023 series that takes place in the Batman universe. The series had one season and thirteen episodes.

Gotham Knights focuses on a brand-new character named Turner Hayes. Turner was adopted sa pamamagitan ng Bruce Wayne after losing his birth parents. Bruce Wayne is suddenly murdered. If that wasn't bad enough, Turner and a group of thieves are framed for the murder. Turner teams up with the thieves, which include Harper and Cullen Row and a young woman who claims to be the Joker's daughter. They are also joined sa pamamagitan ng Turner's friend, Stephanie Brown, and a female version of Robin named Carrie Kelly. Meanwhile, Turner's foster uncle, Harvey Dent, wants to clear Turner's name, but he's being haunted sa pamamagitan ng his villainous alter-ego.

Gotham Knights was a daring, risky ipakita to make. Making a Batman related ipakita that starts off with Bruce Wayne's death seemed like a counterintuitive idea. I was still willing to give the ipakita a chance, because I saw some potential in it. However, I feared that the ipakita might not work as well it could. I'm happy to ulat that although the ipakita has a few cliches and a few awkward lines of dialogue, it's an intriguing series. The series remains interesting and creative throughout its short run. The main storyline about Turner and his mga kaibigan is solid and interesting. However, a lot of the show's best Pagsulat comes from Harvey Dent. At the start of the series, he wasn't Two-Face. However, he was still struggling with his own duality.

Turner Hayes is a character that was created for the series rather than the comics. Having a Batman related series focus on a brand-new character was a major risk. Thankfully, Turner isn't a bad character. If you don't compare him to Bruce Wayne, Turner is a sympathetic, charming protagonist. He's different enough from Batman to feel like a unique character. The Joker's alleged daughter adds a lot of dark comedy to the series. Her wild nature leads to lots of unpredictable mayhem. Stephanie Brown, who is the daughter of the obscure Batman villain Cluemaster, gets an interesting arc of her own to go on. Harvey Dent is arguably the most interesting character in the series. His struggle to avoid becoming evil is very compelling. Two-Face is known for being quite a menacing villain, so it's interesting to see Harvey back when he was a very likable, well-intentioned character. Misha Collins did a great job of distinguishing the differences the two sides of Harvey Dent. He was able to make Harvey and his alter-ego come across as very distinct and different from each other. It helped make this version of Harvey one of the better adaptations of the character.

The series isn't intended for kids. There is a lot of violence and dark subject matter. Gotham Knights was a series that got poor reviews and ratings and was quickly cancelled. However, I consider it to be an underrated part of Batman's history. It's a fresh, exciting take on Batman's world.
Passing the torch is a very important thing to do when it comes to careers. They say that nothing lasts forever, but sa pamamagitan ng passing the torch down, a legacy can continue to go on. Actors can't have the same roles forever, so it's necessary for them to pass the roles down to new people. Doing this can be risky, because if the new people don't do as good of a job, it can lead to unhappy responses from fans. However, it's important to have trust and faith for the susunod generation.

The Blue's Clues franchise is one of the best examples I've seen of passing the torch. In 1996, the Blue's Clues franchise...
