A wog was originally a racist term. You see, prior to the 50's, a wog was a slang term for an infectious or contagious sickness. Now during the 50's, times were tough in the Mediterranean, and many people (including my grandparents) decided it would be better to raise a family in a land with madami opportunities, and many chose Australia.

Many Australians were unhappy about this, and they mocked the Italians, despite the fact that they were hard working and industrious. They were rejects, sadly. But, it didn't matter. All they wanted was to raise their family here.

And so, today in 21st century...
