I FINALLY GOT IT UP!!!!!!!!!
“Please Mr. Wayne? Pleasepleasepleaseplease? PLEASE?”
Devin followed the billionaire around the mansion, begging for his approval. He finally turned to her, his face set in stone.
“Give me a reason that you can back up.”
“The team has had major problems the past months from missions or personal lives. This is the ability to let them relax and have fun after all the hard work they've put in.”
Devin's no-nonsense face matched his. He studied for a time.
“You'll be in set-up, clean-up, and any thing else responsible for this.”
“I promise! It will all be taken care of.”
“Then you may proceed.”
“Thank you Mr. Wayne!”
Devin gave him a bright smile before flying off in a hurry.
“Devin why?” Becca groaned.
“It'll be fun!”
“Devin.”
“Other people are going. Cat might. Maybe Tara? If Mel goes I'll have to watch her.”
“Devin.”
“And I'm in charge of everything. Hmm...I should ask what they prefer to eat. And drink.”
“Devin!”
The angel came back to earth, eyes turned toward Becca.
“What?”
“Why?”
“It'll be fun.”
“That your only motive? Or is it because you never got to go to one?”
Devin looked at Becca questioningly. The younger simply stood her ground, her face void of emotion.
“Becca...?”
“This isn't about me, Dev. You going to answer?”
“....I just want to give what others cannot enjoy.”
“What does that even me? Are we still on the same subject?”
“Becca...people like Scott or even Billy can't have these things. Too much suspicion; too weird or abnormal. I've never been able to do this stuff. You somehow never get forced to.”
Becca shrugged.
“So you're doing this as a favor?”
“Yes. I want them to experience something.”
Becca studied her for a minute, tilting her head from side to side. She shrugged her shoulders and let out a sigh.
“Fine. I'll help.”
Devin squealed and hugged Becca close.
“Oh thank you thank you thank you!”
“Heh. No problem. But if things get out of hand, I'm not responsible.”
