October 31st 1686

Babylon sat in a chair head held high, black hair pulled up up on her head, she didn't want to be there, but if she was going to survive financially, this was the only way. She had pulled on her only dress that wasn't black and that already was a deep violet. She had a black bow in her hair kept her braid from unraveling, and at that time, her hair reached nowhere but below her shoulders. She looked at the girls sitting beside her, in like manner, and in pastel dresses. Hers was the only dark dress in the room. And they had umbrellas with them, in matching color to their dresses. Babylon didn't have one. Had she been vain and a snob, she would has easily noticed she surpassed most of the women in beauty, but she never saw beauty in herself. She heard the door knob turn, and quickly brought her chin up, and from the corner of her eyes, watched men in coats, hats, boots, and fancy clothing walk into the room.
Her fingers played with the black puntas gloves, until one man walked up to her. He had striking blue grey eyes and blonde hair. She looked at him with half lidded eyes, and smiled, her lips in red rouge. The man smiled at her, and picked up her gloved hand and placed his lips to it.
Internally Babylon panicked, praying she wouldn't poison him, but the minuto the man held his lips to her hand a segundo too long, she saw his energy drain. She could feel it going into her, the shock like electricity. She pulled away, but to late, the man fell back withered and drained. A woman cried out, "SHE KILLED HIM! DEVIL!"
Babylon gasped, and scooted back in her chair half in fear, and another in disgust with herself. Another shout followed, "its Babylon! The Demon Girl!" Babylon, quickly stood, gathering her her dark kulay-lila skirts into her hand, and made a mad dash for the door, maids and butlers screaming throwing crosses at her and yelling prayers. The crosses left bruises but nothing more.
Babylon ran out of the house tears running down her cheeks messing with her powder. She fell to her knees when she reached the edge of the city. But when she looked up, she saw the dead man's face.

Babylon sat up in kama with a scream. Breathing heavily and clutching the sheets tightly in her fists. It was a dream...a memory. She fell back into the pillows and began to sob. She couldn't help it. It happened so many times, all the people she accidently killed. Babylon, cried into her hands, then into pillows. What must have been an oras of sobbing, Babylon sat up and pulled on her gloves. She grabbed her clothes and pulled them on. She was going to go die.

Babylon ran, barefooted in the cold, she ran to the edge of the mountain. She stopped and looked down, the waves crashed against the rocks, and spray was hitting her lightly on the face. It felt like the tears she once cried in her dream...or really her old memory. None of her dreams were really dreams, but old memories that she would never forget.

She looked into the sea again and then took a few stepped back, and then ran. Ran right off the cliff. She felt the wind in her hair, she could taste and smell the sea water. And then like a cold slap to the face, her body hit the water. she didn't bother to trying and swim up for air and she began to sink. Her black hair billowing around her in the water.
Babylon could feel herself fighting for air, and took a deep breath taking in water, choking. Drowning. Her eyes closed for her lack of oxygen. And it all went black.

Babylon opened her eyes, sun shining right into them. She winced, and tried to sit up, her hands dug into the sand. She looked down, and then behind her, at the water lapping at her legs. She jumped off the cliff, she remembered, and sighed. She knew it wouldn't work. But it felt oddly satisfying that she had died, even if it had been for a little while. She stood and wringing her wet hair, walked back to the mountain.
