Two persons are wheeled into the cave's infirmary both in very bad conditions. One being Ashley, who has third degree burns on both hands and is hardly breathing. The other is Jaivus, the young Beetle that helped her save her sister. He too is hardly breathing and has third degree burns from his neck to waist. Devin along with Rene, Kaya and Koda paired themselves into twos, Rene and Koda dealt with Ashley while Kaya and Devin dealt with Jaivus. The four healers started healing as quickly as possible. But suddenly Jaivus's vital signs monitor started beeping alarmingly, his puso beat dropped rapidly. Kaya and Devin widen their eyes as they looked at the monitor. They hasten as the beeping grew louder.

After a few hours things dead down Rene and Koda managed to get Ashley's breathing back to normal and healed her burns. Unfortunately, Kaya and Devin weren't as successful Jaivus puso and breathing was stabilized but is placed in a hyperbaric chamber since his burns are not fully healed. There was no other sound or light besides that of the he vital signs monitors, with its bepping and green and red lights.
Ashley slowly lifted her heavy eyelids her mouth feels dry and she feels tired and weak. She was lying it seem, in a bed, she turned her head noticing the monitor with its beeping sound. She turned her head side to side, "Where...?" She slowly sat up holding her head she glanced at her hand and instantly she had a flash back:
Her hand is covered with burns, where she is, its in flames she's kneeling and struggling to breathing. She feels someone grabs her other hand, she turns to the person its Jaivus lying beside her in pain and gasping for air....
Ashley gasped, "The fire.......Jaivus!" she stars removing the IVs and tube in her hand. She gets off the kama stumbling a little she scan the room because in her head he should be in there. She called his name, in fear. She reached the end of the room seeing the hyperbaric chamber.
"Jaivus are you in there?" she asked in a whisperer, suddenly the lights were switched on. She narrowed her eyes allowing them to adjust. She stood in shock seeing Jaivus lying in the chamber covered in burns. She screamed his name and started pounding the glass.
"Ashley stop." Devin said, rushing up and pulling her hands away from the glass. The two struggled then Kaya came grabbing Ashley's hand and yelling but her,
"Ashley shout up and calm down?!" Ashley obeyed but yelled at them,
"What are you doing to him?!"

"Dude. You going to bed? It's like three o'clock in the morning." Danny got and walked to his room,
"Yeah. In a minute." Scott got up, setting the paper aside and flipped off the light. He sighed and walked into his room, pulling off his shirt. Scott fell face first on the bed, sprawled across and smothering his face in the pillows. He curled up under the covers and grabbed the black stuffed cat that was sitting on his night stand. He petted the animal and cuddled against it. "I miss you." He cuddled up against it, halik its head. Scotty smiled, "It does really look just like you Cat." he pulled the stuffed animal closer and fell asleep.
It's short, BUT SO CUTE!!!
