He paced back and forth in the room and her eyes followed him. The room they sat in wasn't too large but very comfortable. Crimson lay on the sopa to her right, sunglasses in place. Shade sat elegantly in an arm chair to her left. She sat on the only other couch, plenty of room beside her. In front of her, facing the TV-mounted apoy place was a dark coffee table. tsaa and snacks had been set out for them as they waited.
“You're quite agitated today.”
“Why do you think? Crimson, what do you have?”
The red head looked up for a minute.
“He's......confused.”
“He has his doubts that are starting to plague him,” cut in Shade.
“Why so worried, Sin? You can't do a thing. We have orders.”
“Screw those. Our binding orders are to help him when required.”
“But this task...it's not in your job description. Do I sense a bit of warmth lurking in those viscous eyes that so coldly kill?”
Black eyes narrowed and met reflections against dark sunglasses, a smirking mouth underneath.
“Your job is to make him feel loving to certain people, Crimson. Do not forget your place. Ariella, what do you see?”
“He misses the young lord. I should do something, but I can't.”
“You three may care for those petty rules, but I don't. Sooner or later, he will find the truth. I don't intend to hide if my master needs me.”
He opened a window and looked down.
“Tell them what you want. I'll be back whenever.”
With that, he jumped out, becoming nothing madami than dark crystal in the sun light.
He looked up into the puno and sighed. While it wasn't the most convenient of times, it would be better for him in the end. He climbed up with no hesitation and found him easily enough.
“Hey! You're asleep?!”
sinabi he just rolled to his side and somehow managed to not fall off.
“Crap. You just HAD to..-”
He looked closer and saw the frown on the boy's face, the sweat beading on his brow. He immediately sat against the trunk and pulled the other close, eyes sliding shut as he entered into the dream. He saw a layer of thick darkness and then was surrounded sa pamamagitan ng bricks. He peered in through the darkness of the almost pitch black room.
“You sure do let your guard down these memories...”
He pulled out his sword and, with one swing, broke through the barrier.
“Hey kitten! Wake up! You need to before you get sucked in!”
Footsteps in the quiet of the dream came from behind and he gripped his sword tightly.
“Death. You've traveled a bit off course haven't you?”
“Don't piss me off. Where's the kid?”
A smirk came to blood covered lips. A pale finger came to remove the somewhat dark mask covering eyes the color of fresh blood. Blue hair fluttered a bit.
“Slowly being devoured. Isn't that a part of their plan? Or was I misinformed?”
Black eyes narrowed as the sword slowly lowered.
“No...that plan is still intact. But you're getting too hasty. Bring back any madami memories, give him anymore nightmares, and you'll drive him over.”
“Ah yes. We couldn't let that happen. I'll release him now then. Now be on your way.”
His form dissipated in the darkness till he came back to his own body.
“I hate that.”
The boy in his arms was still asleep. But a much madami relaxing sleep than before. He stood and took Dylan into his arms. Then looked down.
“Yeah. Let's go tahanan now.”
And he jumped out of the puno till only sparkles of black dust fell to the forest floor below.
