Becca sat back in her chair, thinking. Her pader monitor flashed with larawan from inside and outside of the mountain. Everything looked ligtas and indeed it was. But she was worried. Someone was getting information. Someone was watching them. How? She had upgraded the security sa pamamagitan ng a thousand. Cameras had been placed into every corner, every nook, every room. And several madami covered the base outside. She had also hacked her way into Robin's cameras. The whole mountain was wired to her computer. So how had someone been able to watch them, hear them? A knock sounded on her door and Becca pressed a button underneath her desk. The computer monitor swung away, a much smaller one taking it's place. Becca called entrance.
“Can I talk to you?” Willow asked.
“Sure.”
Becca spun around in her mesa chair, looking at the girl sitting on her bed.
“What's up?”
“What you sinabi earlier...about someone seeking to destroy us...why didn't you tell anyone sooner?”
Becca cocked her head, narrowing her eyes at Willow. She gave a small nod before sitting upright.
“You are the first I told. You are an official member of the team. I am not. I may be on the team, but only temporarily. I know too much and, for your sakes, I have decided to release that information now. Had it been sooner, there would have been a panic.”
“You mean aside from the one happening right now?”
“Yes. I've delayed any attacks sa pamamagitan ng being here. Had I told you all sooner, there would be no madami team. Trust me Willow. I've done this before.”
“Why must you be so secretive?”
“My secrets keep people together. What I released is barely a third of the information I possess! So if you'd rather a matulin death, then try me.”
Willow stared at Becca. She was calm, no hint of any emotion but peace on her face. Her posture was buisness like and Willow wondered how a girl so young could hide things so well.
“If you wish to leave, Willow, you may. If not, suggest another topic.”
Willow was a little stunned but opened her mouth.
“I'll leave you to it. But I really do hope you can tell us everything about you. No one is pushing you. We just trust you.”
Willow walked out, leaving Becca alone with her thoughts. A sudden dinging pulled her attention to the computer. A message had been sent.
Game on little bird. Best get out while you can. We're coming.
