“Good work Beck,” Becca sinabi as she entered.
“Thanks.”
Becca sat on the arm of his chair, watching the screen. It was a camera just outside the gate. Her mga kaibigan stood there, talking.
“They were spying,” Becca muttered. “They think we're playing tricks on them.”
“The whole plot of land is a computer screened room, basically. I can control what it looks like from my computer.”
“So it's like a holographic display. Makes sense.”
“I had to use it to confuse them. See, your two speedsters were lurking around. I needed to mix them up and gave them a house with lights and shadows through the windows. Then the Martian started to poke around and I changed what she saw too.”
“The magic of digital editing.”
Beck smiled up at her and Becca smiled back, even though she was staring at the computer.
“How'd you come up with that dance studio idea?” she asked, typing on his computer.
“It was easy. I just typed in a walang tiyak na layunin thing and it gave me a listahan of things. And you obviously pag-ibig dancing. I put that into it and decided I'd better tell them. What are you doing?”
“I hacked the bituin City Dance studios and put my name on the roster. Just in case. Now I'm poking around to see what information you have on your computer.”
“You better not!”
“What's wrong Beck? Afraid I'll find a disturbing picture from your past?” Becca teased.
“No. But you may not want to do that.”
“Why not?”
Beck stood and grabbed her sa pamamagitan ng the waist. Becca screeched, laughing when he turned to place her back on her feet. He placed his lips on hers, backing her towards the wall. Becca grabbed his hands, their fingers locking together.
“Door secure?” she muttered.
“Mhmm.”
“You sure?”
“Shut up,” Beck sinabi with a laugh.
Becca smiled against his lips and she hit the wall. He kissed her several times and Becca kept their hands locked together. She felt herself halik back, eyes closing slowly. A sudden pain hit her and Becca pulled away, placing her head against Beck's shoulder.
“I'm sorry,” she mumbled.
“It's okay Becca. Calm down.”
“You're so much like him. I thought it would be the same. But it's different. In a good way. I feel good when we kiss. When he kissed me, I don't know what I felt. I mean...oh! This is all so confusing!”
“It's okay Becca. You're still hurting. I understand. You need to find out what you want. But,” Beck stopped until Becca looked up at him. “But I won't stop halik you unless you give me reason not to. And saying you're in charge doesn't count.”
Becca smiled, a few tears coming from her eyes. Beck kissed them away and pulled back to look into incredible brown eyes.
“Thank you Beck.”
“No problem. Now then. Where were we?”
Becca smiled again as her lips met his. She released their hands and was immediately pulled away from the pader sa pamamagitan ng two strong arms. She put her hands in his hair, wrapping several strands around her fingers. Her eyes slowly closed and she felt a small pain but not as bad as the last one. I'm sorry Robin. I miss you but I can't have you. For many reasons. And the madami I hold on, the less I have. I think it's time to let go and start again.
“Thanks.”
