**Third POV**
Alfred paced back and forth in the parlor. He pulled out a small pocket watch, dangling on a golden chain. It was almost two o’clock. They should be here sa pamamagitan ng now. As if to answer his thoughts, the doorbell rang, the sound echoing against the walls of the old mansion. He scurried over to open the door. Nine scraggly-looking teenagers, their faces sullen, hands on their hips or folded across their chest, stood to greet him.
“Are you the Team?” he asked. He was slightly surprised at their appearance, he had expected them to at least look presentable.
“Yup,” sinabi the boy in the front. He was gangly and awkward, with a shock of red hair and a smattering of freckles. “I’m Kid Flash, but you can call me Wally.”
Another boy stepped forward, tall and stony-faced, with dark, smooth skin and short-cropped blonde hair. “I am Kaldur’ahm. Or Aqualad, that name works as well.”
One sa pamamagitan ng one, they introduced themselves: the solid girl with a dark ponytail was Aisling, the blonde one Artemis, the girl with oliba green skin, who was hovering slightly off the ground, was Megan, and so on. The last two, twins, with ebony hair and dark sunglasses obscuring their eyes, were familiar, although Alfred had a feeling he was not supposed to know them. When they told him their names, Fin and Robin, he knew immediately who they were. Dick and Kyra. His children, or who he had begun to regard as his children. The first to go.

Somewhere in the Arctic, 4:49 a.m.
Nathan curled up on the rocky floor of the dark cave, protected from the snow for now. He'd found a piece of rock chipped off from the edges of the cavern and had somehow created a spark that had ignited into a flame. How it was sustaining, well, he didn't know. But it was keeping him warm, and for that he was grateful.
It suddenly dawned on him that he felt immensely drained, nearly useless. His puso wasn't beating as fast as usuall. Pushing himself up, he went to find a pool of ice, to see what was wrong. What he saw shocked him: his hair had turned to it's orginal mocha hue, a sign of no powers.
He sighed, and realized with a jolt he was in a cave. A cave... and the last person he'd seen was the Batman's daughter. This small fact slightly amused him, but amusement turned to worry. "Fin..." he murmured. "Why can't you see past what I've done? Why can't you see that I pag-ibig you?"
