"More ferocious!" Zuko sinabi to Aang as he pushed him to do better. They were doing Aang's lesson. Aang clutched his fist and firebended a bit. "Imagine striking through your apponents heart," Zuko said. Aang was doing the best he could with his apoy but it must not have been enough for Zuko. He looked frustrated. "Ugh! i'm trying!" Aang said. "Now let me hear you roar like a tiger-dillo!" Zuko yelled. Aang streched out his arms and roared weakly and barley any apoy came out of his hands and mouth. "That sounded pathetic! i sinabi ROAR!" Zuko shouted. Aang did a lot better this time. He roared loud and apoy burst all around.

i sat on the steps of the tabing-dagat house and prepared pakwan juice. When i finished i yelled,"Who wants a nice, cool glass of pakwan jucie?" Zuko looked at me with a frown. "Sorry," i mouthed. "Ooo, ooo, me, me, me!" Aang said. He began to come running towards me. Zuko grabbed his robe. "Hey, your lessons not over yet! Get back here!" i rolled my eyes at how Zuko was acting. Typical. "Come on, Zuko. Just take a break. Whats the big deal?" Suki said. Zuko huffed. "Fine." He let go of Aang and i gave Aang a glass once he was in front of me. "If you wanna lounge around like a bunch of snail-sloths all day, then go ahead!" i stopped serving pakwan juice once everyone had one-except for Zuko. He walked away. "Maybe Zuko's right," Sokka said. "Sitting around the house had made us pretty lazy, but i know just the thing to change that. tabing-dagat party!"
i jumped off of the steps and ran after Zuko in my swim wear. i pulled him into a swarm of trees.

"Whats the matter?" i asked. "Nothing," he said. He sounded happy, and not like that angry jerk that was pushing Aang in his lessons. "You seem tense," i said. Zuko laughed. "Its my act, Katara. Remember? We have to act like our old selves. Not a couple of happy fools. And we also have to act like we're no dating." Now i remembered. i told Zuko all of that. it was all coming back to me. "Oh," i said. "Well, i'm gonna go surfing and you just...stand around here and mope and pretend to be that jerk you were before." He looked at me confused and angry, but not too angry. "Love you," i said, hopeing that would get me off the hook with that "jerk" thing, then i jumped into the water and bended an ice board.

i surfed the beautiful, crisp and blue waves. Water droplets landed all over my face and and my hair, with its brown wavy-ness, flung back behind me and gracefuly moved in the cool air. i could see the horizon of water ahead. it looked beautiful and...me. It didnt LOOK like me but it felt like i was out there, like i was part of the large body of water. Maybe it was because i was a waterbender. That was probably the reason.

i loved being a waterbender. Everything about water was so beautiful and helpful and...and...me. The best part about being one was that i was able to help people in need. i had my healing abilities to lean on. i loved to help people. i felt like it was my nature.

A loud blast of apoy inturupted my thoughts. It was coming from the beach. i bended the waves so they would take me back. Once i was there i saw sand sculpters into shreds and a nervouse Sokka trying to put his back together. "What happened?!" i asked. Sokka answered me. "Zuko's gone crazy! i made a sand sculpture of Suki and he destroyed it! Oh, and he attacking Aang." Zuko was going too far with his act. i cannot believe him! Me, Toph, Sokka, and Suki (pulling sokka) all ran in the direction Zuko was attacking Aang in. But they kept running around so we had a hard time finding them.

Then we found Zuko, on the ground and grunting in pain. He held his head. He looked up and at me. i gave him a furiouse look. "Whats wrong with you?! You could've hurt Aang!" i said, and as i did Aang landed susunod to me. Zuko got up. "Whats wrong with me? Whats wrong with all of you? How can you sit around having tabing-dagat parties when Sozin's Comet is onlt 3 days away?!" Zuko didnt know, did he? We all looked at him. "Why are you all looking at me like i'm crazy?" he asked. Aang stepped forward. "About Sozin's Comet," he said. "I was actually going to wait to fight the apoy Lord until after it came." Zuko came pasulong a little. "After?"
"I'm not ready. i need madami time to master firebending." i was still looking at Zuko. i was pretty mad at him right now. "And frankly your earthbending could still use some work too," Toph said.
"So...you all knew Aang was going to wait?" Zuko implied.
Sokka answered him. "Honestly, if Aang tries to fight the apoy Lord right now, he's gonna lose. No offence, Aang." My anger flushed away and it turned into remorse. i hated being mad at Zuko. it always made me feel guilty. i told him,"The whole point about fighting the apoy Lord before the comet was to stop the apoy Nation from winning the war. But they pretty much won the war when the took Ba Sing Se. Things cant get any worse." i shook my head. i feared for the world and everyone on it.

Zuko turned away. "You're wrong," he said. "Its about to get worse than you can even imagine." What?! i thought. This cant be good. When ever Zuko uses that voice, he means its bad news. And what he said...it just put my hope on edge. "The araw before the eclipse my father asked me to attend an important war meeting. It was what i dreamed and wanted for so many years. My father had finally excepted me back. He told General Shinu to give his report. Shinu said,'Ba Sing Se is still under our control. However, earthbender rebellions have prevented us from achiving total victory in the Earth Kingdom.' My father asked him what his recommendation was. Shinu told him,'Our army is spread too thin but once the eclipse is over and the invasion defeated, we should transfer madami domestic forces to the Earth Kingdom.' Then my father asked me if i thought adding madami troops would stop these rebellions. i told him,'The people of the Earth Kingdom are proud and strong. They can endure anything as long as they have hope.' My father said,'Yes, you're right. We need to destroy their hope.' i couldnt believe what i was hearing. i tried to speak out but Azula inturupted me. 'i think you should take their preciouse hope and the rest of their land and burn it all to the ground,' she said. Shinu asked what my father was suggesting. So then he told him that from the air ships they would rain apoy over Earth Kingdom. apoy that would destroy EVERYTHING. 'And out of the ashes a new world will be born. A world in which ALL the lands are apoy Nation and I am the supreme ruler of THE WORLD!' he said. i wanted to speek out against this horrifying plan. But i'm ashamed to say i didnt. My whole life i struggled to gain my father's pag-ibig and acceptence. But once i had it, i realized i'd Nawawala myself getting there. i'd forgotten who i was."

i dropped to the ground. "I cant believe this," i said. The apoy Lord was going to destroy the world.
