I just realized something!

When Elena was with Stefan and Damon wanted to ilipat on no one let him! Every character used his pag-ibig for Elena to make him do stuff while his friend Rose never stopped rooting for him and Elena to end up together. Even when she died she kept on rooting for them, even Alaric in death, started rooting for them! No one talked about him needing to ilipat on! Posted sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas

But when Elena chose Damon, people told Stefan to do things for HIMSELF not Elena! Rebecca was even sad for Stefan that he wouldn't chose himself and still followed Elena everywhere like a Nawawala puppy. Even Caroline who is Damon #1 hater and Stefan's biggest tagahanga eventual stopped rooting for him and Elena to end up together, admitting he'll move on faster then he thinks. Lexi, stopped rooting for them and did this beautiful speech to Stefan telling him his pag-ibig was "epic" BUT he has way madami then one true epic love! And that he will ilipat on without realizing. sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas

I don't know if this is a coincidence but so far each time Damon wanted to ilipat on he was encouraged not to lose hope while Stefan is encouraged to ilipat on with his life! sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas

Exactly CHOCOLADE! We already knew that Damon could never ilipat on from Elena although he tried to, but you pointed out in a great way how the others used Damon's pag-ibig for Elena while they now tell Stefan to let go. And Rebekah also once sinabi that Damon will never have peace when Elena doesn't pag-ibig him back because he will always pag-ibig her, while Stefan now is told to look for another pag-ibig to get over Elena (who is only a reliving of his life anyway [his own words]). sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas
