Being male and having some experience with this sort of thing, I think you should go somewhere private and talk to him a bit, and ask when it seems the least awkward. If he likes you then he will either tell you so almost immediately when you ask, or act very shy and embarrassed, and try to avoid answering. If he doesn't like you (romantically; you can be mga kaibigan either way), then he will say so, or he will think going somewhere private is odd and misleading. The worst that could happen is he will say he doesn't romantically like you. Discovering that early will be far better than trying to find out for far too long, rather than consider someone who might like you back. It may seem embarrassing or make you nervous, but relationships cannot exist without a beginning. The best of luck!

just ask him if he likes you I did that and needless to say a taon later we got married. if he doesn't we'll his loss

Worst that could happen is if he say no.
Worst that will happen if you never ask is a bunch of nervous tension of "What if?".
You'll either forget about him or regret never asking.
So go ask him out.

Talk to him

I know this has already been sinabi sa pamamagitan ng everybody else & can be easier sinabi than done, but talk to him. Chances are though, that he'll either say no or deny it, but if he shows any of the signs (e.g. blushing, pagganap awkward, getting defensive) then he most definitely likes you & you should do something; or if your to shy, ask 1 of your closest mga kaibigan to talk to his best friend in case he told them. Just try not to get too depressed if he honestly doesn't, there's still friendship.
