Why does Pein have so many piercings? They make him look ugly.

It's so Nagato can control him. He uses them to send his chakra into pein and the others. They all have piercings.

because the piercings act as rods that attract chakra.

well he has them because they have many uses: controling, weapons, and they hold or do something with chakra or something like that..... weather or not ppl think he is ugly is their own opinion and i don't really care..... its Masashi Kishimoto's desigin so i like it <3

pein still cool,,but he looks like kisame with d piercings on his nose (but just a little)

i'm not that sure but i think it's so Nagato can control him and other uses like:nwepons,chakra,the paths of pain or something like that.but if u think he looks ugly well that's what u think i think he pretty cool myself,some people pag-ibig piercings some people hate them some people just like them.u may think he looks ugly but i think he's pretty cute myself.(but not as cute and hot as Deidara-Sempai and Sasori-Dana and Hidan(yes i think Hidan's cute/hot u got a problem with that))
